@@lilbrimu You mean the 2 hairpins then the red blade slam? The combo to deal with that is like so. Parry>Parry-hold>Unbound Counter. Some people don't know this but you can actually charge unbound counter while you're in the air, or from parrying an attack. So if a person attacks and moves into an attack you can use UBC on, you can parry the first, but hold the parry button down to charge for a UBC. The thing about the fengs fight is that she's ALWAYS going to summon the hairpins on the side that's facing away from Fuxi, but that's fine because UBC will block from any direction, so you don't need to turn to block his red attack. However, if you'd rather not deal with that, you can also use the cloudpiercer arrow to stun him out of charging his red attack, the cloudpiercer arrow will stun every creature out of almost any move, barring scripted moves that are meant to happen no matter what.
@@rednova2212 Managed to beat them by shooting an arrow at Fushi whenever they do that attack. I didn't have enough time to charge the block after deflecting the arrows

This was the second hardest boss fight for me (the 1st one is Eigong, obviously), took me quite some time to beat their second phase. SPOOOOIIIIILLLEEEEEEEEEEEEER BELOOWW!!! I love these guys so much, DAYUM! Really, really fun fight! I think it's the contrast that makes it amazing. The fun energetic music (this and "Feast") and the feel of a great party vs reality where everyone is drugged out, trying to numb their feelings of despair about their inevitable death, and the organizer of the party is a deluded girl clinging to her dead brother's corpse, whom she still believes to be alive. Super fucked up. LOVE IT!

Although, I get your point - I thought the same before reading the info. He's moving, but at the same time he's pretty tame compared to other mutants. Sooo... minor spoiler I find the ending of this fight quite interesting. Its not us who takes Nuwas life, but its her brother. After Yi beats the living crap out of him and then Nuwa promises Fuhsi to give him another dose, he just kills her, taking his sister to afterlife with him. Makes me think that he never really liked this life in the first place. When this energetic and funny ost ends, both of them "snap". Remember kids, dopamine is a HEAVY drug.
Personally I believe it to be the reverse. While Fushi indirectly infected others with the mutated tianhao virus while he was "alive", he never infected his sister. I think this is because while Fushi's body may be dead while being animated by the mutations, his mind was still in there and would protect his sister even while suffering. What was left of his consciousness was still being kept alive through the joyus theatrics and the music played by his sister. We can see this when Nuwa plays her music to "resurrect" Fushi when his health is depleted. After battling Yi, both Fushi's mind and body eventually gave out, likely from the pain from having to move so much and injuries inflicted by Yi. At that point, the mutated tianhao took the opportunity and used Fushi's corpse to kill Fuxi; finally unsuppressed. Another thing to note is that when you purify their bodies, Fushi's body is almost entirely gone. Having become almost entirely the mutated tianhao, leaving only his head. While Nuwa underwent fungal bloom of the normal tianhao and left behind twin tao fruits. A mark that while their bodies were separate, their soul was the same.

Fuhsi definitely has some sort of sentience and control over his actions, as he does obey his sisters commands and doesnt attack the solarians in the background. We dont really know how the mutated virus works, is it respiratory or does it spread via physical contact? Because i dont think that either of these are under big bro's control. The fact that he doesnt infect his sister could be explained with twin fruits, but its a bit of a stretch. I dont really think that he doesnt attack everyone because he wants to protect them, because the way i see it, the current state of Nuwa and other solarians that participate in banquet isnt really good. Basically the constant state of being under drugs, except the drug is dopamine. After constant exposure to a certain satisfying feeling, it becomes less and less satisfying, good example being nicotine and p0rn addictions. This is what makes me believe that Fuhsi was in this dopamine trance too, cause if he wasnt, he'd just end the banquet himself. Also kinda explains his transition to second phase, more dopamine from his sisters tunes gives Fuhsi more will to fight and push himself to his limits. Your theory does make a lot of sense though, i really didnt think about the meaning of of twin tao fruits. We seemingly dont have enough information, so all theories remain theories

Some people don't know this but you can actually charge unbound counter while you're in the air, or from parrying an attack. So if a person attacks and moves into an attack you can use UBC on, you can parry the first, but hold the parry button down to charge for a UBC.

I think fuxi is still alive, just in some horrible half state between solarian and mutant, so honestly worse than just being dead

That motif is present in every boss fight bgm (although some more obscure than others), so I assume it's representative of Yi's mindset?
