By taking the stupid arguments and wild views he has, he lets his cohosts shine and so the listener gets to take sides and almost feel like they're friends with his cohost. This is amplified by having sports personalities like Shannon and Sherman because listeners feel extra connection when siding with former stars from the sports they love. It's a great recipe and even worked to get people like SAS opportunities even without prior playing experience This is a great show brewing I can already tell
