She didn't do any real reseach on the character of Dolores Fuller. In an interview with Dolores, she said that SJP never took contact to her nor did she understand how much Dolores contributed to Ed's movies. In the movie she just acts like a spoiled actor, which is far from the truth..
@Parris ofTroy True, she wasn't the best. However you also need to show respect for the people you play as. Apparently, SJP said to her and others at a press party that she just played the worst actress in history. If she truly felt that, then why portray the person? At the same time however, the portrayal of Fuller worked so well with the movie's narration just as Landau's Lugosi did, despite it being inaccurate.
Love to watch and listen to this guy. Hate the fact I never got to meet him. REALLY WANT TO. But everybody says I'd never get close enough to him. Too many crowds, thousands of people. And to get to go to his live concerts they say I'd never be able to afford it. Family even have discouraged me. My siblings have all been to rock concerts, but not me. NEVER. 😢

They partly fictionalized and exaggerated the Dolores Fuller character, but they did it with Bela Lugosi too because Dolores Fuller said he didn't cuss like that in real life like he did in the movie. It was funnier with him cussin' a mean streak in the film than if he hadn't.
Omg, people immediately think inky about weed or alcohol. She was laughing because Johnny is very funny, it's hard not to laugh around him. Plus, she is actually shy person, it's normal reaction when you feel uncomfortable. So stop judging just because Ur bored or whatever.
Romantic movies can be weird too. I think did that Chocolate movie that was a romance I guess. I don't usually like those type of films I call them chick flicks I don't like romantic comedies much either. I like art films and action movies or biographies best I guess.
