That's because the actors do have to be decent martial artists to make the fight look good. Nowadays you can just slap on some blur effects, slo-mo, etc. to make up for the fact that the actors may not be that good at martial arts.

the scene from the first movie with the two old men playing and singing this song was my favorite . And all the action from both movies were awesome too of course. Platonic Purple Panda I can totally relate. My childhood music was nothing but Chinese Movies theme songs and Paris By Night lol. This one is my favorite, and my Dad got me addicted to Mau Nhuom Bai Thuong Hai (The Bund) theme too.
Ooh that's cool, my mother has the soundtrack, and now I have it on my phone. XD I like the melodies from this movie, the words to this song is powerful.
Also, Cantonese which, was mentioned before has completely different phonetics (6 tones in Cantonese- three level tones, two rising tones and one falling tone). So I think that some "Dialects" are more closely related than others....
대한극장에서 봤던 기억이 있어. 지금도 있는지는 모르겠지만 당시에는 화면이 제일 컷다고 알고있어. 학교에서 단체관람으로 벤허라는 영화를 졸면서 보다가 단체관람 끝나고 몰래 혼자 남아 봤던것 같아. 티비에서 보던 그런 느낌이 아닌 대형 서라운드 스피커에서 이 노래가 울려퍼지는데 별것도 아닌 벅찬 감동이 막 생겼던것 같아. 그래서 지금도 가끔 생각나면 듣고하는 곡이기도 하지.

Love martial art chinese movie in 90" where CGI is not used yet, it looks more realistic and spectacular. Swordman is one of my favorite movie
