I'd say those are something turbine blades, the Ronnie is carrying! Looong! She looks good coming under the bridge and into the harbor. It's fascinating listening to, and watching her enter the slip. You had a beautiful day to capture all of this.
When they operate right they provide that nice gentle breeze you feel in August...when they fail they cause tornadoes in Oklahoma. I like wind power, tornadoes...not at all.
Nothing wrong with coal power either. Modern plants filter everything out and desulferize it. They use the sulfer dioxide to make gypsum for drywall. The whole global warming this is mostly a scam and isn't a big deal. They Said in 2008 that Manhattan would be underwater by now.
They look to be constantly repairing them. The older wind farm I am near in NW Iowa, they shut down on windy days until they get a new set of blades on.
All a scam. Do people really believe nations give a damn about the environment? If it were truly a calamity and the rich risked losing their money and power due to climate catastrophies, it would've been fixed by now.
Scam? Wind power has been used for along time. First to pump water, which is why Holland exists. Now to make electricity. I live in a state with lots of wind power.
@@longrider42 wind generation has dropped almost 3% from 2022 in the US. Germany is dismantling wind farms to get to the coal under them. Its not producing what they're telling it is.
Love vessels. Nice historical recording. Priceless interaction on radio
ThT is so cool looking the way they loaded and transported the blades. Would love to watch those unloading. 😮

Interesting vessel, gotta be good! What a great video!
Great Master salute, Ronnie!! Welcome to the Twin Ports!
You'd think they would use a wind powered ship to transport those
Yeah, but the sails get in the way of loading the turbine blades. 😂
They wanted to make sure they got to Duluth, so real power
They were shipping those on trucks across lake mi. from Ludington to Manitowoc till the dock collapsed at Ludington.
Hi from Birmingham England
Not a fan of wind turbine blades, BUT THIS VIDEO IS EXCELLENT!!!😊😊😊😊😊

Kind of weird to just hate the blades. Why not hate the whole wind turbine?
First time seeing the Ronnie!
Me too is she a salty
Anyone else notice that sweet pontoon with a 25 hp mercury following? 🙂
2 new ships for me this week. I saw this earlier inthe lochs.
Wonderful ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
These blades don't look as big when transported on such a large vessel. When carried on land they are massive.
We’ll see these China blades running on us2, the tote road heading west with highway patrols escort all summer
Three long, two short?
I've seen those wind turbines on trains. first time on a ship!
Really? Most wind turbine are too long and two high for rail transport.
@@mnmike6884 it’s been awhile but I have seen them on trains too
no carbon to transport, make or set up. I wonder if they are heading to MORRIS MN where the 3 "NO Working" turbines need fixing after two years.

They are garbage, look up how they take care of old blades, they bury them, as they cannot be reused, not so green after all
These blades are going to be put on airplanes BIIIG ! airplanes.

Another wasted load of tax payers
Money. Just going to cost a lot more money for hydro

How are taxes paying for this? The majority of power plants are built by private developers who then sell to the utilities.
What a scam , wind turbines
