Beautiful campers and love that Bronco. I would have the bed in the back, because of when you back into your sight, you are not sleeping near the road. The bathroom is pretty awesome.

I love the fun intro! That Caravel 22FB is very interesting to me. I really like that Caravel interior, it is a bit 50's which I really like. I've always really liked the 23FB, so this layout is also of great interest. Having the toilet/shower room all in one at the back is great. Airstream are so far ahead of the other USA RV manufacturers with their interior design.

Great video! But I never understand why manufacturers focus on inverter power outlets. The TV, your laptop computer, cellphone and most all of your gadgets and electronics are DC. The trailer should run the TV directly off DC and include a ton of USB and/or USB-C outlets. 60W is enough and will power almost anything. An inverter with a couple of outlets is also fine, but it’s so inefficient to invert DC to AC and then back to DC.

How long would the fridge last just on DC power while boondocking?
It draws up tp 2.2 amp per hour i there is no charge from the tow vehicle the solar panel, it can drain the 160 amp hour batteries to 50% in 36 hours.

Yes, there is a travel latch on all.
Nice layout, but the bed sizes would really only fit 3 people with a small width for the back bed. The dinette is basically a twin size mattress (regularly 39x75)and the back bed is the width of a full mattress(regularly 54x 75) with just a little more length of 80”. Would have loved this model if it had a king size in the back and a queen for the dinette. That would allow the back to be a king or two twins and still enough room for couple on the dinette.
Thank you for the comment. This trailer with the size mattress and dinette you are requesting would have to be a much larger and wider trailer to accommodate your wish list.

You know, I think a two burner cooktop would suit this trailer better. I would think more counter space would be preferable. I doubt many people are utilizing the three burners simultaneously. I do wish it had dual axels to increase the carrying capacity of the trailer. I guess you have to step up to one of the other models for that though.

I may be wrong because Airstream may be different but you never want to drain all the water out of your toilet. The gasket that seals it needs the water there to keep it from drying out.
You only need it damp otherwise you will have a wet floor after towing.
What an awesome and thorough walk-thru. So very knowledgeable as well. You put our dealer to shame. Quick question. You mentioned a lock for the battery box. What exact type of lock do you recommend and it is basically "Plug and Play" or does it require some basic modifications? Any details would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

It seems like having electronic monitoring in the bathroom (the place most likely to experience moisture) would be a bad idea.
This 22FB floor plan has been around since 2008 and no problems with moisture on the monitor panel.

What are the differences between a 2020vs 2024
There are many updates and improvements through the model years. Too many to list here. We have a 2023 22FB Caravel visit and you can see some of the updates.
My favorite but needs a bigger fridge.

Great video again, Patrick! No other RV manufacturer's website or youtube channel that I've looked at (and I've looked at a lot!) take the time to do such a detailed job of explaining more than you do! What vehicle would you recommend for towing this model? And what's the best cleaning product for the interior walls? Thanks again and I only now need to save up to get this one!
Thank you Pam. I would recommend a mid size SUV or larger that can tow a minimum of 5000#. I use Mrs Meyers cleaning products on the inside aluminum skin.

Has an enclosed underbelly that is very tight.
Airstream has always been an interesting brand too me, the problem is it’s not made for tall people, secondly that refrigerator is way too small!

Gross weight leaves 1000 lb, how much is left if you have a full water tank?
If you use 8 lbs/gal for water weight, with a 27 gallon FW tank and empty black and gray tanks, you'd have 784 lbs left for other items in the trailer.

For a trailer that has a floor length of 18'6", the refrigerator is sized appropriately.
@@colonialairstream Well, I disagree, there are plenty Lance travel trailers, and Arctic Foxes and many more that are that size that will give you bigger refrigerator's come on u know that. When you spending all that money, that frig where it was at could of extended up all the way to the ceiling.

When is somebody going to mak an rv with a woodstove instead of a furnace? No added moisture, no noise, no propane or power use. Takes less space, should really be cheaper too.
Not sure how safe that woudl be for the masses.
