I will never tire of watching my youngest brother sing so beautifully in Seoul. It brings me shivers of joy and pride in all he has accomplished. Well done Joe!
Saw him on broadway in this role...WONDERFUL!!! Had us convinced there were two separate characters in the songs showing the inner-fight between Jekyll and hyde. Great voice and actor.
i heard and seen both version of this guy and anthony warlow and i must say that this guy is fantastic! i felt it to the bones and he lifted my spirit. he gave me goose bumps which i didn't have with anthony. performance level? this guy is on the top of his league...
The chior for my cousin's hughschool graduation sang this at the ceremony. How appropriate; telling high school kids to go out there and be the best destructive, schizophrenic little monsters they can be.
Why didn't they give this guy the role instead of sebastian bach or david hasselhoff? he's on par with chuck wagner, anthony warlow, robert cuccioli, and rob evan.
he was the alternate jekyll/hyde for 2 years from 1999-2000 Rob Evan was the principal actor from 1/1999-1/2000 and Jack Wagner was the principal in 2000 after Evan left and then a few months later Sebastian Bach replaced Wagner Mahowald left the production in 10/2000 when Evan became the alternate again
I actually did go listen to your son at the school leavers assembly, and he did a very good job, but you can't really compare your son's video to someone with a trained voice with a full orchestra behind him. I think with some vocal coaching, your son could give Mr. Mahwald a run for his money.

Yes, he definitely sounds like a baritone but does a fantastic job at a tenor role! Beautiful voice, lots of passion, and committed. Bravo!!
I've been a fan of his since college. Brilliant.
Probably my favorite Jekyll and Hyde that I had the pleasure of seeing on Broadway.

Could anyone tell me who he is? I am so moved! goose pumped!
I've been a big fan of this song and Robert Cucci. Now I found a new star!
I got addicted to this song just because of my voice lesson homeworks

It's real.
would he be considered a tenor or baritone?

bari-tenor
He's a baritone.
I highly doubt it, ma'am.
Very obviously a Baritone.
