Hi Vincent, I debated on using the hairspray technic or just paint. Sometimes hairspray or even chipping fluid can be unpredictable. Lucky for us it worked just fine. Thanks for watching, take care and model on my friend! Johnny

Hi Johnny. The camouflage pattern went very well. As you mentionned it wasn't an easy job. Congratulations. The way you painted the model gives me a good idea how to paint a Korean 1/35 scale tank that I have on my stash. Once again thank you so much for your patience and for sharing your skills. Cheers. François

Thank you so much François😀you really have to watch your angle and air pressure, takes time, but you'll appreciate the results. Take care and model on my friend. Johnny

Thank you George, these tanks were very well maintained, so I refrained from heavy chipping on upper surfaces. Thanks for all of your support my friend, model on! Johnny

The model is starting to look very good Johnny. Really great job on the dozer blade, I'm very impressed with the way you did the hairspray chipping, the outcome is very realistic.

Thanks Gerry👍For me, hairspray chipping is always hit or miss, I was a little worried when I first started the chipping and a large flake came off, lol. Thanks for watching my friend, stay safe and model on! Johnny

This is really coming together nicely. The chipping is really good. I don’t know what you mean hillbillies don’t have cocktails, I personally have a can or two of Vienna weenies a couple times a week, lol. Pretty new to your channel, but I’ve been enjoying it for a few weeks now. Great work.

Thanks so much Paul, glad to have you on board! I don't usually do Vienna weenies, but you say little smokeys and I'm there, although we use them as sides to a meal rather than a cocktail, 🤣🤣🤣. Good luck with your build, take care and model on! Johnny

Hey Johnny, not checked the chanel for a while - this is one of those subjects I have some real-world experience of. Was in Germany (with the RAF) in the eighties and clearly remember the ReForGer ex's and the transition from M60's to M1's. Hey, does this version of the kit have the big mantlet mounted searchlight included ? , (I know it's in the M60A1 boxing).
If you remove the diffuser tip from your brush, you'll be able to spray a much tighter/finer pattern. Maybe drop down to a .2 needle aswell.
    Cheers from NZ.

Hi Ian, no, this kit doesn't have the large spotlight in it, although it does have the 3 ball mounts for the mantlet. Thanks for the tip, take care and model on my friend. Johnny
