Great shots! Nice smooth coverage. My only comment would be that including a map showing where we are would provide good context, as at times, it felt a bit as if you had "skipped" locations.
Good to start seeing the scale of this project. The eastern side where eventually the next runway will go and the southern "industrial" end. I expect that, initially at least, there will be a huge move from Kingsford Smith out to here for international cargo flights. The M12 will be on fire shifting this stuff from here. The metro and people movement will probably be slower to get moving. My guess is that the Qantas group movements will probably be a lot of Jetstar domestic & international flights. Thanks for the forward thinking in this entire project of yours Colin. I am really enjoying it.
Thanks Colin. Quite a smorgasbord of things to look at this time. Nice shot of what appears to be the water supply system at around 5:20. I don't have any contacts about what it includes, but iit may encompass domestic supply, and/or recycled supply for land irrigation, and/or high capacity firefighting water supply. Would love to see the specs for it.
At 1:07 you can see 3 drains over roads. I find it old that the first 4 pipes, second is one pipe and the third is 3 pipes, I though this single pipe in the middle should be 3 or 4 pipes to allow the water to flow unrestricted, strange way of progressively getting bigger flows as you travel further down hill, but not if you are the middle set of pipes
Yeah, I noticed that. Wondering if that road with the single pipe might only be temporary during construction?? Also, later plans show a dual taxiway running across roughly in the foreground from the first runway across to the second. It runs over the top of the entrance roads, roughly where the two roundabouts are located. Can't see them on this clip, but you might notice the ground dropping away so that the entrance roads pass under that cross taxiway. See views of the roundabouts vicinity on other clips, and Western Sydney Airport site layout 82Map (online) for more detail.
WSI Metro more than likely to open after the Airport goes oniine by the looks of things....M12 more than likely later this year might be able to drive on it.
@@SYDTrainsFilms but they haven't started to lay the tracks install the gantree for the overhead wires and erecting the concourses...should've been done last year
It's certainly coming along. Great pics. Thanks for creating and sharing. DM.
Thanks for watching!

yes I'm not sure either but i think you're right looks like some type of water system
Thanks for this great view of the project!
Glad you liked it!
Looks nice
thank you
Cool Video and top notch editing too, Nice Colin !!!
Thank you 👍
Oof. That cargo area looks freaking massive.😲
yes its going to be massive alright 👍
Plenty of what looks like signs over the m12 .Variable speeds I presume .
This should be the genesis of a fast train to Newcastle

i see what you mean however I'm not sure maybe someone in the comments could know more about this
Let me guess...the m12 is only 2 lanes each way. Gov can't count past 2.

They've finished the tunnels and viaducts, and are currently on time. It will likely open with the airport.
