I'm so sorry for your loss. It really is painful, I've also been there, she was like our little sister that never grew up. In time, we found the most rewarding way to honor her memory by adopting a stray dog and bringing it the joy to be part of a family. Thank you for sharing this with us :(

Aw no, I'm sorry you've gone through it too 😢 That's great that you took in a stray dog! What a great life you're giving him/her :)

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. We lost our 17 year old Jack Russell last October. There are no words. I still miss him every day

I'm so sorry for your loss Erin.
It really is terrible losing a pet, but just know that you made her life so much better just like she made yours better.

Dear Erin! So sorry for your loss !!
Yeah Erin. Been there, had the Heartbreak 😒 ! We just live longer than our Pet family friends 😒 ! I just decided, that Pet's wouldn't be part of my life, in the future. Yeah! It's harsh, but I avoid a lot of grief ! My opinion anyway. Rest in the knowledge, that your friend had a good and comfortable life, thanks to you ❤️😉 ❤️!

Thank you so much for your kind words ❤️ Totally understand why you'd avoid it - it's a really painful thing to go through.

I would recommend finding a piece of jewelry that reminds you of your dog... a necklace with a charm or stone or engraving... you can wear your memory.

Sorry to hear about your loss! I've tried that also, but after one month or so we got a new puppy and that helped us.
I'm very glad you are back - love your videos!
    Take care!

Thanks so much, Bent. Glad to be back!
Luckily we have a younger dog (it's actually the daughter of the one who just died) so that has definitely helped a lot. Just very strange going from 2 dogs to 1 - the house is a LOT quieter now!

What hurts now is the notion of loss. Just remember all the good times, and she will be there. You never really loses someone if you keep them in your heart.
Just like she was in your life - you were in hers.
As tiu say - she had crossed the line into senior dog. So all things aside - as hard as it might seem, she is in a better place now.
And don’t let anyone tell you you can’t grieve anymore. You do it your time. 😉
