I really really like that the instructors are teaching theses riders to be quieter with their hands, but they also need to teach that vocal commands are not necessary.
that doesn't make it a bad thing though. Vocals can still be an aid, especially when you're trying to teach your horses something new to help it understand better and quicker. But the vocal aid should fade over time, I agree

Your hands have to be quiet in dressage You’re supposed to look like you’re not giving any aids to the horse.
