Woodland scenics buildings are spectacular. Very intriguing your underground storage idea. Looking forward to that episode.! 👍🏻😀😎
The town looks really great!
I also like the placement of the factory with the siding.
Really enjoyed the how to process and the explanation of the electrical.
Keep the videos coming.
I really like the reflections of the lights. It would be nice to see how they look in the dark
So much to learn .. Becoming a real modeler requires , I see, so many talents... One must have artistic ability as well.... wow .. Thank you again Chris for your teachings ... Its the best on the screen.
Very nice work! If i ever find my box of train buildings..and a place to set up..i will get on my own layout. Watching this has been inspiring, thanks 🙂 -Jim
You out did yourself bro! This is fantastic work, this I'd probably my new favorite scene on the layout by far!
Thanks!
Looks like a friendly neighborhood Chris. You've given a lot of us some great ideas I'm sure. Thank You !
Great job Chris. I have learned a lot about scenery with your video. Keep up the good work. Look forward to more videos.
Awesome, thank you!
The Boyd’s building placement worked out great and looks phenomenal. Love the details that can be created in O Scale. Thank you for sharing this project.
Thank you!
Very good video and very good narration, my first time watching your video and look forward to seeing more. Thank you
Nice job on the town! Thanks for showing the system for the lights. Looks fairly simple and user friendly. I need to work on lighting more of my city on the Austin Tinplate Trackers modular layout.
For display - storage..
I would help my brother Hang his antique Eskimo miniature kayaks From the ceiling With
fishline, Making it a stunning way to display them. You could do the same with your locomotives
That way all 4 sides and the undercarriage Would be visible. You could even shine lights upon them. That is my storage solution for you. 😊
I like your idea of using hard board for roads, sidewalks and building bases.
Very well done!
It lends to the scenery and provides great tips.
Thank you!
Hola buenas tardes excelente trabajo le da mas vida a la maqueta muy bueno la iluminacion gran trabajo abrazo grande
Very nice. Like the building placements. Gives me some fresh ideas on how to place several Woodlands buildings and some Menards buildings that I have. Anxious to follow your progress.
The town looks amazing! I just started N scale model railroading, I will be watching more of your videos,
Chris, Looking Great! this scenery will allow for some awesome train videos
Nicely done, I did get some ideas from your post..thanks for sharing..
Chris ! Awesome I love the builds by woodland and your downtown were perfect. Congratulations your work !
I'm sure you are aware of "Miller Engineering" "neon" signs. Some might be appropriate for your town. They are very cool.
Well done and thanks for sharing your process!
towns loo
towns awesome Chris. Gave me some ideas. Ha
👍👍👍👍👍
Like what you did with that area Chris! It was cool to see how you did your sidewalks. I installed those Woodland Scenics light posts a couple of years ago and I love them. More prototypical for the city than what I was using before. Looking forward to the next update!
Thanks 👍
Chris, the scenery looks great! I feel like the “lack of storage” was just an excuse for you to rebuild this section of your layout to create a town scene. It was worth it as I am hooked on the series and can’t wait to see what you do next.
Stop analyzing my psyche! 😂 😂
Great video. Lots of great tips
Amazing what you can create with a little imagination and know-how. Honestly I find the scenery, buildings, lighting to be more satisfying than running the trains. Especially when you have a smaller layout. Its like the hunt for a train, or engine and finally getting it can be more fun than actually having it. Anyway your change will be great for your videos. Good job!
Very Cool!!! Great work.
Nice job on the town Chris. I like your details which are really what makes the whole thing "come to life". You motivated me to get some of those details going on my layout, which I too will post on my channel. Keep the progress coming man.
Looking forward to this new phase of work on the layout, Chris!
Really great work, Chris! 👏👏
Thanks a lot!
Chris, your town looks amazing. Incredible job.
Thank you!
Incredible video Chris! Those woodland scenics buildings worked out!!
Thanks man!
Chris it looks awesome I did my Main Street in a similar fashion just used painted plexiglass to make sidewalks and building foundations. I also glue black foam sheets from hobby lobby painted with Apple Barrel pavement color which get from Walmart. Gotta save somewhere those buildings are not cheap. Of course not much in this hobby is cheap. Hope to make up to Pa and York someday
Looks good labor of love
Looks good! I’ve had good luck with paint pens for road stripping
Looks awesome Chris. Great work
Thanks 👍
Great video! Your town looks awesome!
Thank you!
your town looks great!
Thank you!
New Town is looking amazing. I love what you did with it. Can't wait to see it finished.
As far as what to do with the strip of land that you said maybe flowers or something. I was thinking since it's at the base of the hill.... how about some drainage gates for when it rains.
Nice job.
Looks great Chris I used foam board for my streets
looks great
Thanks!
Awesome 👏
Thank you!
Looks awesome! Love your sidewalks! Used your method on my layout as well after seeing you make em before, and very happy how they turned out. Curious to see what you do with the road striping.
Thanks!
A rail fan park might be cool behind the building with the ice cream shop. Maybe even a micro camera to “live stream” like the virtual rail fan channel. Anyway just an idea. This is a helpful video on modeling techniques.
Great thought. Thanks for sharing!
Great job 🇺🇲 😳👍
Thank you!
Great job on both the project and the video. Good plan for that space. Those woodland scenic buildings are really nice. When I do a stripe or line on a scale model, I usually start by painting the stripe color, then mask it with tape, and then paint the item color. Backwards from the way things get done in real life. I built a large lower level storage yard for one of my layouts. I did not like it. I should have left more clearance between levels. It was just too hard to see what was going on.
Hey, love the video. Those buildings I love but not in my budget. I have a few Menards just wish I could turn down the bright lights.
Keep you’re eye on the forums. You can snag these at great prices used every once in a while
Does gravel work well for details. Am not a railroader but i wonder.
Am interested in how trees are made. Nice video
We are looking for a modeler to build parts of a historic little timber mill town in WV if you are interested in being considered for contract work!
That middle area would be perfect for a monument and a flag post behind it
can you please do a vid about selecting road vehicles for the layout and where to get them?
Looks very nice turned out great like some of your technic you used may still some of your idea as I a a work in progress on my small layout hope you won’t mind
Steal away. Reach out if you have questions.
Hey maybe you could put in a little short line Trolley car service in your new town?
There’s an idea!
@@ChrissTrainsandThings really? Wow gee
Because he’s an internet influencer!
Hi! What track do you use? What are it's pros & cons? Cool RXR!
That Billiards building was a nice find. Great fit for the spot you put it.
Thanks 👍
This is a great teaching tool for a novice in model railroading. What scale is this?
O scale
Your building with the tower , should the curb be curved instead of 90 degrees
Why can’t people wear hats properly?
Totally agree. Also whatever happened to taking your hat off when indoors.
These are different times bud
Hi thankyou for another enjoyable video. Being rather new in the train scene i am trying to learn as much as I can. Q- what scale is your layout. As I was looking at the footpath/sidewalk it is really quiet big in size. Anyway again thankyou for yr videos. Cheerz for now. Denise W.A.
I model O scale
