Jeff, thank you for the kind words. I'm extremely flattered any time I hear friends talk about my tools. Oh the flip side of that coin... I'm digging your color coded 3d printed blocks. For roughing in, I think those would be very useful. It makes me wonder if there's a printed "cap" you could make for the long beams. Something that could snap on and off so you could switch grits on the same block... Maybe I'm over-thinking it.
I have a wooden 8“ radius block, but have had my eye on the longer Skyscraper ones for a while now. When the right time comes, I‘ll be picking one up for sure. Oh, and neat color-coding idea for your printed blocks!

Thats a great idea on the removeable cap. Maybe I'll experiment with that at some point, or I'll just buy some more from you! Lol.
I have two of the 20” long Skyscraper ones…10” radius and 14” radius and they are top notch. I love them. The flat sanding beam is fantastic too.
The @skyscraperguitars tools are so sweet. I also have a flat sanding beam. I plan to get some more long radius blocks too.

The Skyscraper blocks are awesome. I can't recommend them enough. I will eventually get some more in the other radius.
I bet you got one 🤣
Nice video. Do you use them to level frets too?
I don't although I suppose you could. I use a flat beam to level the frets.
Could you use your 3d printer to make double sided radius blocks so you can use one block to hold two different grits of sandpaper?
What make/model 3D printer do you use for making your radius sanding blocks?
I use a Creality Ender 3 v2.
Can you resin print the radius blocks? Those look like FDM ones..
Mine are FDM. I think resin print would work great if you have a resin printer.
What infill do you use for these?
I've tried several different infills, but 20% is what I use. They're plenty strong.
