What makes MW2012 cool to me is that if you press the brake, handbrake and accelerator at the same time, the rpm will be set in a range. And the automatic gearbox in the game, if the accelerator is not pressed deeply, the transmission system will shift gears early. When you step on the accelerator heavily in this state, it will force a downshift. It's a pity that MW2012 doesn't have better content, otherwise I believe this is the most underestimated NFS in the decade.

This game was one of the best stress relievers after a rough day at school. I'd pick a car at random and just drive aimlessly, enjoying the graphics, car sounds and soundtrack (still listen to some of the songs from the OST to this day). Amazing content here, love NFS 2012.
still holds one of the best sounds in my opinion... ONE of the best...
the best sounds ever V10 or the Ford GT the Skyline is ultra realstic, the porsches as well or the raw sound of 350Z is perfect
you forgot about the Dodge Charger SRT-8 ahah, crazy rare car, could only be obtained using a code from "Slim Jim" products... only a few got it in time. By the way, for anyone wondering about why there were 2 SUVs : there was supposed to be 3 more, hummer h1, hummer h3 and jeep cherokee SRT-8... but they may have lost the liscence before game was out...
5:06 EHEM***, the first version of the M3 GTR was an inline 6, then they took a V10, took 2 Cylinders off and they made the famous V8 4.0 :)
Ohhhh didn’t know that!
@@fastlanegaming np, but i think they put the inline 6 cuz no one in BMW are letting grab the sounds of the v8
3:41 That is a ZR1, not Z06
This game showed me the joy of driving, not faffing about with body kits and liveries, just pick a colour and drive. The sound is also over half of the driving experience. 👏👏👏
Jammin I AM ELECTRIC passing down Ripley's Point at Heat Level 6 is the best feeling ever!!
This is why is my fav need for speed❤
Its mindboggling how much they ruined one of few things they done so well in MW2012 once they worked on NFS 2015. They made gameplay and sounds much worse and it never got that much better.
The studios could learn a lot from just asking the community beforehand, idk why the studios make it such a VIP party to say a word about a game that we will spend money on
18:35 I just realized that NFS Heat uses this exact same engine sound lmao.
Well its the same engine so uhh yeah that makes sense
@@Boxscot49 yeah but its crazy how that sound holds up so many years later
The lack of a memorable storyline is probably the main reason preventing it to become the best NFS game
I think so too
Bro,nfs mw 2005 story wasn't good,so was the voice acting.
It's was very memorable@@Professor_Genki7
@@Professor_Genki7 -NFSMW 2005 final cutscene-
Sgt. Cross: ‘I want every single unit after the guy’
Female officer: ‘Everyone?’
Sgt. Cross: ‘EVERYONE!’
This cutscene still gives me goosebumps to this day!
Everyone? Everyone! 🤤
this game is a banger like your videos
Appreciate that 🔥🙌🏾
If anyone wants this game the raise ur hands

I love how absolutely nuts they went when making this game. I miss old nfs.
8:25 I love it when cars break down like that 🔥
Best gameplay of NFS 👌
zonda r and mclaren f1 sounds the same ngl but still amazing
Startup yes, but the sound while driving has a different pitch towards the high rpms
just imagine nfsmw 2012 but nfsmw 2005 story and cops physics/pursuit
The shift growl from the Venom.. aah, sweet memories !
I just abused the 918Spyder in this game..
i’m sure nobody would deny that this needs to be remade ASAP
I think it doesn't need to be touched at all, it is perfect as is, people just need to give it the respect it had always deserved.
Best Modern Need For Speed for sure, case closed 🔒
Superb vid, many thanks.
Arguably one of the best sound designs in any NFS game
I remember people lost their crap when the production 918 came to this game. One of it's first appearances.
Why didn’t you showed the evo x? It sounds amazing!
People if you want good engine sounding vehicles play project cars 3/2, nfs heat, the crew motorfest, nfs rivals, grid 1, nfs carbon & nfs most wanted 2012
Downloading it again right now
i refunded it because every other car i found was a dlc car and this game has NINE dlcs NINE DLC PACKS they dont even go on sale during the sale times and the game is dirt cheap during it so basically ea lures people in with cheap price and then you realize every dlc pack is 5-30 dollars(not saying the game is bad, i enjoyed it but the dlc cars really bothered me)
forgot one of the best parts about game, imo one of the most stacked soundtracks
Thanks for this video so much man. This game represents the best parts of my childhood. When my uncle got me PsVita and I bought the game back in 2012. made a fresh sony account cuz it was my first ever gaming device, I was just 10 yrs old! And till date I love this game. After my psvita broke cuz Of my carelessness, I played it a ton in my laptop(intel Hd lmao😂) But it worked at 1280x720 res and low graphics at 50-60fps. And now I got ps4, Ps5, But I still play it on my rtx 2070. I wish psn didn’t remove the games I paid for man. Or at least could refund them 🙂
honestly i never played this Need For Speed but it looks fun and maybe better than hot pursuit (which i played remastered) i'd say that i wouldn't dislike a new nfs with this driving physics instead of heat driving physics.
looks way more fun.
it's literally a burnout paradise with licensed cars
From watching all of it, the sounds are very high quality, even by todays standards, but I'm noticing a few copy + pastes here and there
MP4 10:20 & M3 14:34
GT500 6:05 & 302 23:42
Gallardo 18:33 & R8 22:07
Didn't feel the need to list duplicates of the same car like the 918 or Aventador
@@Blaza303Audi R8 V10 its the same from Gallardo in real life.
@Victor_2000s So, The R8 used the 5.2L v10 from the Gallardo LP560-4 onwards. This is the sound from a 5.0L v10. The R8 never had a 5.0L. So there's a difference between sounds as well. NFS has used the wrong sound for the Gallardo after 2007.
@@RMechAlloy Only the LeMans Quattro had 5.0L V10 Twin-Turbo but it was a concept car.
That is correct! Thank you for adding that detail!
@@HeroManNick132
Don't forget Rivals. That game is also underated af
For the next video you should take a look at Blur. The sounds are great too, underrated game
I don’t own it yet, might buy it for my 360 if I can’t find a PC Code
Im glad i used to play that and still have it on my old PC
NFS MOST WANTED 2012 even though its one of the worst NFS games of all time along with NFS UNBOUND due to its much shallower gameplay depth, the engine sounds on those cars in NFS MW 2012 are still PERFECT!
I like this game for the sound quality of the cars, as well as Hot Pursuit 2010/remastered and the graphics are gorgeous for it's age. I do wish we could've gotten something bigger, but EA rushed development time and... Blackpanthaa oddly blamed Criterion for this game when technically it wasn't their fault. EA should've given them another year or 6 months or so. We all know about Rivals being the buggiest Need for Speed game... I respect everyone's opinion nonetheless ❤
vaya el nfs con mejor sonido hasta la fecha, casando un poco la locura de heat heat. Increible que sea de 2012 y se vea con tanta calidad todavia
Cannot begin to understand the disdain many have for this game. What it does well, it does superb. And what it does well is different than other games, and that's okay. Best car sounds ever in any racing game, and frankly it isn't close. If only you could use manual.
It's literally not even a need for speed game, pretty much no story, burnout ripoff, one of the worst rubberbanding in the series, no customization, bad driving physics, no cops, and tedious gameplay. This game would of at least had a fighting chance with more time to be made better and was called Need For Speed Takedown. Oh you reminded me of another bad thing about this game. No manual which is a pathetic thing to forget about
@@MotivGuy94 - But I can also say it has the best car sounds in the series, the best multiplayer, certainly one of the best maps, a great car list, and excellent racing. It's not perfect, but far from bad. It's okay to be different, not every game has to be an underground clone. Who cares if it's an NFS or not. It's a fun GAME.
@@MaximusOverdrivefun game that's have no meaning to the predecesser
If NFSMW2012 was given the time it deserved this would have been honestly one of the Best NFS games ever
As someone who owned MW2012 from realease but never had Hot Persuit 2010 until the remasrer came out, I can tell you Hot Pershit was a WAY better game.
I adore this game
Man i love playing this game its fun playing kt again
Do people in Switzerland tend to play their games in German?
Since Italian & French seem to be main languages as well.
Yeah over 60% of the population speaks german, the rest is divided into french, italian & rätoromansch 😂👍🏾
Mega underrated. Wie gern würd ich das Spiel wieder zocken🥲
Cars i know are: player's M3 gtr, Eddie's skyline, Rachel's 350z, dom's charger, carmen mendez's mustang shelby, the nfs undercover Porsche 911 gt2
This game got so much hate. But I spent so many hours and loved every single minute. I wish it was still active like back in the day. The cars for that era were amazing. Great selection all around . From Compact to the super cars .
Criterion Games delivered some incredible games, this one was insanely good !
I have it and in my opinion its better than the heat in most things starting from thw drift physic
Right? The physics are either loved or hated, i love them
@@fastlanegaming yeah the new drift physic doesn't make sense it's too grippy in the heat while most wanted but also the games hd a similar drift physic to it are more realistic to the irl drift
