About The Fosters:
“The Fosters” is a compelling, one-hour drama about a multi-ethnic family mix of adopted and biological teenaged kids being raised by two moms. Stef Adams Foster, a dedicated police officer, and her wife, Lena Adams Foster, a school vice principal, have built a close-knit, loving family with Stef’s biological son from a previous marriage, Brandon; their adopted twins, Mariana and Jesus; and newly adopted siblings, Jude, and his half-sister, Callie. As the third season of “The Fosters” continues, former foster teen Callie is now officially adopted into the Adams Foster family. She must put aside any romantic feelings for Brandon and does so by throwing herself into her “Fost and Found” website, even drawing the interest of an investor. After his performance at Disney Hall, Brandon focuses his energy on his music, working with Mat on a musical for their senior project. Mariana’s relationship with Mat is still estranged, so she turns her attention toward running for junior class president. Jesus makes a friend who is into street racing and, at his prompting, questions Ana about his biological father. When Mike discovers a secret that his foster son AJ is keeping, he is torn about what to do with the information. Jude must face the fact that his boyfriend has decided to move away while a serious medical issue for Stef results in a clash of opinions between her wife, Lena, and her mother, Sharon. Winner of a Television Academy Honors Award and GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Drama Series.

Callie’s face during the whole process though. She’s like yeah yeah I know the drill I’ve done this before
i know that everyone here is frustrated by how much trouble Callie gets into, but im glad they're making the point that kids like Callie are only seen as their file. Kids cant catch a break because other people are always deciding their fate, the cops/judges/teachers read a piece of paper thats supposed to be who they are. This new storyline is further to exacerbate the point that if she was a normal teen she'd probably be treated wiith concern, but because all they see is someone thats been in juvi they figure she must not be trusted and up to no good.
razmataz13drums yeah it really isn't callies fault she's so messed up its the same emotional trauma many foster kids have especially older ones like Callie the system fucked her over and she's a hot mess i mean well she was in the system she was raped 'beaten and tossed around some many times she began to believe that her life had no value that she was disposalable worthless it's only know that she's begun healing it's really no wonder callie's so messed up

I know this was posted 3 years ago but I hope you are doing well and that maybe you have the answer to your question by now but yes, Stef knew. She was at the station and saw Callie before she was moved. She warned her not to look or talk to anyone. I'm not sure if Lena knew because she was with Jesus in the hospital.

Alex Solano Yes because clearly the situation when a kid makes a mistake is to disown them and I am certain you wouldn't say they should give up Brandon because he's biological Stef's son. Well Callie is just as much their kid she's not a puppy to be taken back to the pound when she makes mistakes she's their child.

at least she's trying. Everything she's done has been to try and help someone else or protect someone, albeit misguided. Look at everyone else- when was the last time Brandon or Jude thought about anyone but themselves. Brandon getting kicked out of college because he did something illegal, jude smoking weed because he cant deal with anyone else's problems. At least Mariana whilst focusing on herself is trying to do better, what with the robot competition thing
That line of thinking from foster parents is exactly why kids end up with a childhood like Callie's.
Callie only gets in trouble because she tries to help pple. She risks herself for other pple. Shes a good person with a bad rep. Like when she damaged her foster father's property just to help Jude because he was being beaten to death. So no the adoption shouldn't be reversed. Callie is a really good person on the inside.
