What can you say about G650X? Just want to sell my R1150GSA and buy the G650X Ch to make ling distance travels to the mountains... 900km per one day on pavement and few days adverture riding in mointains and back 900km... Does the X Ch suits for that purposes? Have you rode with passenger? Is it possible?
Hey, i dont know if its top late or not. But i have a g650x Co and a friend a g650x CH. We swap verry often, so i have can do a good comparison between the bikes. Offroad, they work both nearly the same. Means verry good, for the fact, they are not Cross/Dirt-Bikes. But i would recommend you to buy the g650X Country instead of the CH for trips like you want to do. The seat is so much comfortable! Specially if you drive with passenger! On the CH you think after 150-200km your ass is dead! :D And yes, the g650x fits well for your plans! They are one of the best compromise between offroad and long distance riding. They are verry light weight and on the other hand they have a robust motor... But if you switch from a R1150GSA, you have to know, you will feel the loss of horsepower. But 53HP are fine for me ;) Had a Yamaha YJ 600 with 74HP and don't miss anything ;) And the CH is really high! me and my friend are about 1,83m to 1,86cm this works... but under 1,80m i think its hard to have enough grip. Sorry for my english :D And greetings from germany! Hope i could help you!
And let me know if you have your decision to buy one or not. I may have some tips for you ;) The tank is verry small (150-200km), so i recommend you to have a fuel canister with you. And try to get a model after 2008. The Co are yellow instead of black. There was an issue with the clutch cover that will cause a failure about 20.000-30.000 km (or get one where it is switched with the new cover!)
@@berndbroot587 Great description. Thank you! I'm from Belarus, so any kind of bad english is not a problem. :) Just curious - it is possible to swap seat and fairing from Country to Challange? Frames should be similar, I think.
@@jaktak4650 yes, frame is nearly the same. There is some difference in suspension/wheel diameter and some body parts. The the vehicle fairing has to be changenged nearly complete to change the seat. But it would work. But the question is, if it's easier and cheeper to buy the Co directly 🤔
Que video mas chulo,te has ganado mi voto.
