These spreads are amazing! I really appreciated when you pointed out how long the calendar spread took you. I always get frustrated when I’m trying out new spreads and they seem so easy on video but take me forever to do just a mediocre recreation. I definitely need to remind myself that these videos are typically greatly sped up!

I'm so so glad I saw this video - I absolutely love your honesty and openness about Bullet Journaling. I gave up with my bullet journal because I felt overwhelmed by all the perfect ones I saw on UA-cam and Pinterest. I ended up following other people's ideas and designs to make it look nice rather than to creating a journal custom to me, what I needed, what I had time to do and what I was comfortable doing. Your journal looks awesome - thanks so much for sharing :)
Thanks for watching! I think it's important to be honest about the amount of time and effort some bullet journal layouts can take, otherwise it can just leave people feeling cruddy about their work 🤔 I certainly don't want that!
As you called it, my Feb theme is love hearts and roses for Valentine's day :P it's my first February spread I've ever doing so I figured why not? :P
Heck yeah why not 😄 I really like that theme for this time of year honestly, but I'm going to save my version of that for September when it's our anniversary 😄
I love the theme you picked and you executed it beautifully. For your mood tracker you could add happy or ecstatic.
For February I wanted to pick a theme of something I love, either cats, coffee, or music. Finally, I picked cats.

I LOVE THIS THEME! I've been wanting to do a video game theme, incorporating things like Mario and tetris, because it's so fun and there's definitely something about doing a monthly around it. Will do it at some point this year. Definitely getting some inspiration from this! I can't believe how long it takes, but the end result is definitely worth it for me. I have to be excited about my themes to use them.

I love Pac Man but I never thought about making it a spread or theme. I love it so much! And thank you for bringing up the amount of time and practice things take. I think people forget that part. :)

Such a lovely theme for this month. I don't think I've seen this theme done, or at least not in this way. I really appreciate that it's not the traditional Valentine's or red/pink color theme. Not that I have a problem with those, it's just refreshing to see something different 💜

I’m doing a sort of celestial goddess theme? It’s very self-love, in the sense that my cover page is literally a self portrait of me as a goddess (bc sometimes you just gotta paint yourself as a goddess to feel good about yourself)
Also I love this theme! You made it look so easy and fun to do, it’s definitely going on my list of themes to try someday.

I did the pixel theme in March last year and goodness it was alot of work O_O I'm such a perfectionist so I actually divided all of my squares into 4 or 3 parts first (the complete page.) thEN I'd draw in what I wanted to draw. Took me alot of time :'D And in the end I wasn't even that happy with the outcome, SOB :'') Yours looks so good. I love it! especially the mood page. VERRY creative ps: Idea for positive mood: Motivated!

This looks amazing! I think I'm going to try using it for March. This is my first time doing a bullet journal, and I'm starting with February because January was spent setting up my yearly and semester spreads since I decided to start a journal AFTER the New Year. My February spread is birthday themed, with balloons and streamers because my birthday is this month ^.^
The options in my mood tracker are amazing (mint), productive (gold), complicated (pink), meh (dusty purple), and miserable (dark blue). I put productive as an option to be a sort of motivator; each day I wake up wanting to colour the box gold so I can look back and be proud.
My hand is cramping just watching this video. Ow. But by golly does this look amazing! You've just got a new subscriber. ;)

Ooohhhh. We used to go to Maui every February. We saw so many whales both from on-shore and from various boats. The best one was from a zodiac type craft. You felt like you were actually sitting right on the water. Awesome!
my bullet journal this year is all about video/online games that I enjoy. last month was minecraft and this month is love nikki.
My theme for Feb is sunshine being the last month of summer in nz technically (although March kinds feels summer like too)

My mouth was literally hanging open after you said how long it took just for your pac-man spread. Insane. But I really loved it! Def getting a new subscriber! I agree with not doing the valentine's day traditional themes, I'm just a bitter butt when it comes to v day (be njce to tou SO every day! Just sayin!) So I chose an amethyst theme for my spread this year. I figured it was February but not romantic. Can't wait to wnjoy past and future videos of yours! (Since I'll probably binge them now haha) happy February! Hope school goes well!

I always mess up my numbering, so what I've started doing is putting the last number on the bottom of the page first and then working my way up to one to ensure I have enough space for it all.
That's a really good idea; totally would have saved me in this instance!

Do you double-up your pages so what you've colored doesn't show on the back, or do I need to get some Tombow markers because they're that awesome? I really enjoyed the theme :)
Thanks! I don't double up pages in this journal (Archer & Olive) and I haven't needed to in the Dingbats or Scribbles that Matter 😋 In the LT1917 though, I didn't double pages up when I used them for my daily journals, but when I started using them to do videos for UA-cam I did just because the ghosting drove me mental 😅
youre comment about comparing your start to someone's middle is so important! SO many people feel that their bullet journal has to be super amazing, or super decorative. And its so nice to hear someone remind people that they don't have to do that.

I'm really looking forward how will your tetris mood tracker look at the end of the month! (not that I wanted that it was already march, no! Gosh, it's just after Christmas but January is ending already, what? why?)
I don't do themes. I tried few times but didn't have ideas for that (and didn't want to copy someone elses layout or use (well, first to buy them of course) monthly stickers of some artist (though they're always so cool). Lately I was trying to somewhat decorate it with some stamps (like sun and umbrella and things like that) or with decorative tapes ("washi tape" is specific type of those isn't it? And that's not what I have, but this sort of thing), but it always ends up looking only totally mess and chaotic, I have no idea how do you people do it when you just stick something here and there and it looks super cool...
It was a long process getting to themes 😅 I started with just doing colour palettes, and within that just started with one colour. So I'd have orange month, or yellow month, etc. That way I didn't have to do a specific style of decoration, but I still had a cohesive looking month 😊💜
@@JashiiCorrin That's what I kind of start with everytime but then start to add things (colours or stamps or whatever (or all of everything lol)) until it gets messy (I mean not that I would care that much, it still does its work (mostly)), but it might be nice to have it more nicely looking sometimes lol. I should try with more limited colour pallete (and generally limited amount of "things" to add lol) next time. E.g. like you say strictly just one colour. Thank you! :)

It would be so interesting to see the finished mood tracker at the end of the month! :) i would have personally drawn on the pieces and then just colored them in each day. I dont think i have the patience to count boxes, draw and then color them everyday. 😅
I was considering that, but I really wanted the pieces to be the same colours as they are in the games 😋 at some point I'll probably go and draw a few lines of grid to get my started though
Totally get it! That’s what I’d do too if i had the time and patience 🤣 but knowing myself if i was feeling bummed or annoyed on that day, i’d probably stick an L piece randomly instead of trying to fit it in 😂
