Fun facts about Runabout and Runamuck: - These two episodes (“Chaos” and “Ghost in the Machine”) are their only appearances - Both were voiced by the late Roger Behr. He passed away in 2018 at the age of 70. - Their altmode is based on the Lotus Turbo Esprit, which used the same chassis as the DMC DeLorean (which was famously used in the Back to the Future franchise.
" We should be leave--SCOURGE !!! " - because they speak fast and there aren't much pause between these lines, i'm see this moment somewhat comedic, hehe
Makes sense. Runabout was only in one episode (Ghost in the Machine) and Runamuck was in two (Chaos and Ghost in the Machine), leading to a grand total of 43 seconds of dialogue between the two.
It would of been interesting if to see them along with the Throttlebots more fleshed out especially since they share similar body types But unfortunately in the show(both japenese headmasters and this one) they were basically punching bags/redshirts/fodder. And I guess ironically enough that includes Bumblebee (since he was rebuilt into Goldbug in these versions) unlike these days where he's as popular as Prime and Megatron. And as far as I remember in the comics they aren't exactly treated much better........ Justice for Battlechargers and Throttlebots

And they never transform on screen 😞
@@teaandtoys, yeah. A shame. I actually got the original toy for Runamuck as a kid. Unfortunately, one of the doors/arms came off. :(
@@civilwildmanha funny we also only can him from a car boot sale.

Didn't know these guys had dialogue 😂
I completely forgot these two ever appeared in the show.

Justice for Battlechargers and Throttlebots
I always saw them as the enemies to the jumpstarters two similar cons vs two similar bots both with the same playing feature lol
Could these two be the G1 Decepticon versions of Skids and Mudflap?
Beevis and Butthead actually….
At least in the comics.
@@YeldellGW
*Beavis and Butt-Head*
To be honest, I don't really see the resemblance. I don't think the Battlechargers are anything like Beavis and Butt-Head.
@@YeldellGWcurrently reading the comics, and yeah I definitely see the resemblance to Beavis and Butthead
They are the Redneck Decepticons😂😂😂
…that’s all? Just two episodes?
Yep😢
Well technically, only Runamuck was in two episodes. Runabout was only in one.
The comics did them.even worser first appearance killed off until years later then runabout was eaten by demons
I have not read all of IDW but I can take a guess that these guys are MUCH more fleshed out in them
I wish that was true :-(
No. But they appeared pretty early on. The first title, Infiltration, I believe.
@@collegerebel Well, there's still hope for the new run ;)
