Home is really fun
love me like this feels like some kind of hypnotic chant with the acapella layering and repeated lyrics. i already love it.
Remember the teaser of their debut AD MARE? the one that says "Sweet Oasis" in a Jar that is full of sweets. We know Oasis is like a paradise in a harsh environment like desert right? despite the hot, dry environment, there is like a place that is fertile with water and cool right? if you go to that place you don't wanna go back out to continue your adventure right?
Hear me out on this,
There is a similarities between the "Sweet Oasis" jar and the Donut shop in 0.0 MV. Both of those things
"contains" colorful and "overly sweet" things.
Haewon says in the Docking Station: Declaration video: "Something green and "OVERLY SWEET" is deceiving us and getting in our way" then it shows the donut shop from the MV that is green.
She followed it up by saying: "Sweet things seems good but they stop us from imagining" They are practically saying that the "Sweet Oasis" is a trap or a distraction that gets in the way on our Journey.
Haewon also followed up by saying: "People whose existence was denied wish to stav in the maze of 0 and 1 rather than take on an adventure" In connection to what she said before, she basically said most people are content to stay in a maze that is limited because that is were they are comfortable at, instead of exploring new things and taking risk to find more bigger opportunities in reaching your full potential.
Remember in the MV, on their journey where they went to the donut shop and they were like looking around amazed and wondering what is going on in there. As viewers we were like "WHOAA" because there is a lot of colorful things, then there is Bae's part when she said
"See that maze in zeros and ones, Stop staring come follow", keep in mind that 0 and 1 mentioned in the lyrics are the "ONLY numbers" that made up the Binary Language.
Bae basically told us that even though the things in the donut shop/maze seemed nice, the shop was only a container for small and limited things, and if we are tempted or get distracted on the way, we may never get out or possibly miss on a lot of good or much better things outside of that maze. She also said "stop staring" which meant don't be distracted by these things and just follow them.
Then Sullyoon followed up by saying
"Cause everything is fake but I ain't fake" which seemed like she is trying to persuade us not to be fooled by these things presented in the donut shop.
Then we see JINNI bursting out flying from that shop/ maze which symbolizes like she was free from the maze that is trying to contain them inside and we see the members going out all smiles after experiencing a much bigger world and better things compared to the donut shop that were distracting them.
In relevance to while that is happening we hear Lily singing "Bam Bam BAm, See more more more" basically saying you should SEE MOREEE or Explore more!
There are these quotes that i found which is aligned to NMIXX's messages on their concept:
- "Just try new things. Don't be afraid. Step out of your comfort zones and soar, all right?" - Michelle Obama
- "Never be afraid to try something new, because life gets boring when you stay within the limits of what you already know."
I think that the green candy and the sweet oasis represent limited opportunities and not the bigger opportunities outside that shop. That is why many people are more interested in that shop because they think it is enough for them. Too think of it, it also can represent to their SONGS, like we knew that some people (a lot) is not a fan of their MIX-POP genre that is why some people used to listen to a song they used to listen to and not what nmixx type of song (something new). Meaning the green candy and sweet oasis represent to those songs the we use to listen to and NMIXX is like the one who are investigating that addiction of the people that addicted to that candy and shop. That is what i’m getting into this lore and it so interesting and yet is so freakin’ genius.

Additional details that I got from the Mixxletter #2, before the PICK N MIXX Doughnut shop got remodeled into Sweet Oasis, PICK N MIXX sells two types of sweets which is the doughnut and candies which we got from the lyrics of O.O "see that mazes of 0 and 1" 0 represents the doughnut then 1 are the candies. Now it got remodeled into Sweet Oasis which they now only sell one type of sweets.
so excited for the comeback, they set the expectations HIGH
I haven't recovered from jinni either tbh 😭
But I'm still really excited for this comeback, the highlight medley got me so excited
Haewon is an amazing leader she can do anything she is one of the most versitaile leaders I have seen in a long time

I want a vocals only album or song from groups like this or Purple Kiss. It’s a style I’ve always love and strangely this vocals only preview has me missing the bluegrass / traditional music I used to listen to quite a bit before kpop came into my life.

Also on the docking station: Declaration when there are 7 gems and the 1 gem being removed and tears had fall, that hits hard 😭

Then there's the opening trailer that has the stoplight which count to 7 to 6 🥲 I think Jinni's departure was not forced and that she herself decided on that, coz why would the company made a lore that still involve her and not completely delete her? So yeah I think it's that unlike what others theorized about jinni being kicked out 🥲
