I mean idk I personally love Sephiroth and to be honest, not just Seph, but any character can be "godlike" if you practice enough and have good enough reflexes to read your opponents.
Alright, I’m tired of the doom posting about this character. He is not “weak” lol. He was not “done dirty”. The most dirty thing done to him was making him far too light, but that’s about it. People act like, if you weren’t made into a top 5 character, you were poorly designed or something. They completely nailed him aesthetically as well.
Agree. People just complain that hes too campy and say they HAVE to play like that But the reality is they choose to play like that You can be agressive and campy with all characters I honestly believe seph is high tier at most.
I still can’t reply to people directly for some reason… Anyways, yes, exactly. I play Sonic a lot, and I play him highly aggressively! I only really use Spindash sparingly, or to recover. Other than that, I’m ALWAYS in my opponent’s face! I don’t even think Sephiroth is inherently campy lol. Like, he has a massive disjoint, but I wouldn’t call that camping. Only if the player is continuously running away.
Sephiroth should have been from the start a character that is sheik’s daddy. Super fast from the start with range. He didnt need high damage to be lore accurate he needed to have huge moves, fast moves. With one or two moves like neutral b and up b exactly as is to destroy off stage.
Sephiroth IS godlike. A tad lighter than he should be but still extremely strong. Listening to people bitch about his oppressive kit is simply a good reminder that there's a lot of brainless cretins who play this game. Cretins that don't know how to use sephiroth. Ned does though
