Electronic sirens have multiple settings. This is called Yelp. The slower, crescendo is Wail, the two-tone is HiLo (common in Europe), & the ultra fast pulse is called Phazer. They may also be used to imitate an air horn. Mechanical sirens are only available in Wail.
