I hate it when people do that with my characters; it makes me feel unoriginal and like I'm ripping someone else off. Like one similar trait and suddenly they're "the same character", it drives me nuts!

I'm genuinely concerned with the fact that UA-cam only now gave me a video of yours as a recommended. This is very well done and I love the character designs. The story being relatively well understood through the visuals is also a major plus.
The first character design is so cool! I love the darker palate of colors and then just that sudden pop of white!
Its very well made, And it Almost gives the vibe that they were struck with lightning.

I absolutely love your use of contrasting colours and shapes to set the mood. The bright red in contrast to the more tame colours of green and blue is mwah! But I love that you used pink instead of white, it almost suggests that there was a looming danger at the start and the trauma had already set in. The fact that softer shapes are associated with his mum and partner are clever details. Without knowing anything about the characters you feel safe when they're present and know that they aren't a threat. I'm just in love with the amount of depth in the visual story telling. I feel that nowdays stories have to be said rather then experienced and theres no layers behind it. What you have created in a short animation speaks volume. I love your work, keep at it! You've got great things ahead!
I know I keep saying 'I love' but I cannot put into words how much I enjoy what you've made. Being able to find little details and story elements is so much fun. Animation memes are almost like a loop with a few good ones that stand out, this is something completely different from the norm. It's original, beautiful and engaging.

The story I'm getting from this:
Ok so Mr cat has a kind mother whom he loves very much
Mr cat's mom dies in a unknown way
King of cats???? Is his father maybe not idk
Mr cat kills king cat w armor (magic?) And gets white markings from it
Mr cat finds love and has a kitten
Mr cat's son? Finds dragon (I assume killed Mr cat's mom) and gets corrupted to kill his mom?
Mr cat dawns his armor once more (getting more white in the process)
Mr cat kills his son or his son dies from dragon and Mr cat goes to fight dragon
Mr cat kills dragon and has PTSD from his life and gets corrupted? To be the next dragon
Keep in mind I have speculated most of this and added some extra bits

quite far off, but I love your speculation!! it's so fascinating seeing how the story is perceived through the animation meme without background context!! :D
its hard to explain without the context of the wider story, but in its simplest form:
- Calx Khemia ( or Mr cat hehe ) lost his mother at a young age and his father, Skyfall ( King guy ) manipulated him into believing the gods were the reason for his mother's death, when really Skyfall killed her.
- Due to this, Calx sought revenge on the gods and became a god hunter. At one point he made a deal with a god named Scáthach ( the huge red dragon guy ) in which Scáthach would give him the tools to kill gods in return for claim of his soul after death.
- Eventually this line of god killing work lead to his demise, but he was revived by his partner ( the white stripes in his fur an indication of his revival ).
- He had a child with his partner and the child's birth alerted Scáthach to the fact that Calx was alive once more, and broke the agreement of their contract that Scáthach would own his soul after death.
- Calx went into hiding with Icarus ( his child ), but eventually Scáthach found them and began an endless cycle of torturing Icarus as punishment for Calx
Each character having the red eyes is symbolism for Scáthach's influence, and how it occupies the minds/fears of each character! :D
TLDR: god killing is a bad profession and mortals nor gods can be trusted lol

They are so pretty and i can look at them for HOURS! The smoothness in the animation is amazing! Especially towards the designs! The designs are semi-complex towards my opinion! I can tell the storyline in all 2 minuets. That is BEYOND incredible to tell a story in two minuets. The overall art is fantastic!
