I LOVE how you've thought about the fact that 1,000 doesn't divide by three. Maybe two shops only ordered two each but whatever happened, it warrants investigation. I llook forward to hearing more 🙂
I'm just in the moment of falling in love with my Brompton. I bought my first Brompton a few days ago, and filled out my dream. This is a long journey since I have started cycling from ten years ago. ❤🎉😄🤗😊🎉❤️ A great bike 🚲 I ever had 🚴🤟👍
I haven't used mine nearly enough but I fell in love with the raw lacquer but 2 years ago when I finally got around to investing, they stopped making it so I ended up with a black raw lacquer H6R. What specific model did you end up with?
@@NoZenith greetings!! My friend. I almost get the same black lacquer too. But I just picked the flame lacquer instead, from the beauty of it. Haha, I just saw it at the shop after trying the p-line for the first time. I just took two pictures at the shop that day, one is a p-line that I have tried, and another one is the most picks my eyes, "flame lacquer". And definitely, after a week I came back to get the flame lacquer. 😄 Don't be sad, your black lacquer is absolutely one of iconic color. And raw lacquer, if you get it, it might be difficult to maintain clean. It is almost raw metal which is very ez to get rusty.
Apple Green is my favourite. Dynamo lights are the way to go to help save the environment. The worst culprit are the rechargeable lights. Regular battery lights are better and you can use rechargeable batteries in them. When the time comes you just change the rechargeable batteries but dynamo lights are still better. Heavier yes but better for the environment.
There were some prototypes made in the 70s and some handbuilt bikes in the early 80s, but the first Brompton to "roll off the assembly line" was in 1987.
The baby pink is so nice, I’ve been considering the Bumblebee Yellow as yellow is my favorite colour! Test rode one of the red one’s a few weeks back, and decided that I like that too - and then today I’ve been given the chance to use a nice black P-Line for a few weeks!! The P Line is so impressive, but I’m so taken in with the beautiful colors of the C-Line Brompton’s!! Decisions, decisions!!
Still loving my M6L bought from you at end of December 2019. My only quibbles with the engineering are: - the changer mechanism for the derailleur part on the 6-speed - it is so prone to gumming up with road dirt - needs careful tlc. - the chain rusts far too readily - again, extra tlc needed. - the bearings on the standard right-hand pedal are just not durable enough. My solution to that one has been to fit a better quality non-Brompton pedal. The standard folding one on the left is excellent though. - the standard-fit bell has all but useless volume. I made and fitted a larger mud flap on the front mudguard (helps keep that changer cleaner!). I also have a leather Brooks B17 Standard which revolutionised long-ride non-sweaty saddle comfort for me. Those 3-speed archive editions look to be a good solid place to put some money - number of gears should be fine for not too hilly places. I’d go for Green.
Colours. My best colour scheme was my 2017 S6L - British Racing Green (whatever colour they called it, it was BRG) with black forks and stem. Fitted fully black kit to turn it into a black edition. Burnt orange Cambium saddle and grips. Now got a V3 Chpt3, which is lovely, but that BRG/Black/Orange combo looked superb.
Originally wanted to buy the arctic blue archive from REI. Got cauggt in the bait and switch. Your explanation of the thousand buke distribution cleared things uo. @@brilliantbikes 172754, so old but not ancient. Do you know of anyone who does refurbs of vintage Bromptons? The main hinge needs attention and the paint job is very tatty. I use it every day.
I don't even like pink but that baby pink is sweet! I liked those boots, and at first I thought that was just your outfit for the day! Funny outtakes as always... "traditional?" hehehe I was eating while watching that and it made me laugh and almost choke. Great videos! Maybe just don't eat while watching ;)
Pink & Yellow are darling and would be very popular I think in California for a 6 speed C line but I've literally waited for years for these colors to show up and it looks like even if they did I couldn't get the one that I prefer, bummer. I do understand in some places why those colors are not attractive but those colors have California Coast written all over them in my opinion. It looks like even if they do make it here, it will be in the model that I'm not looking for. It seems like I will never get the Brompton in the color that I want 😢. These are nice colors though.
@@brilliantbikes You could try skipping in them , A guess a video that should get lots of likes , Far be it to give you ideas so get that out of your head.
I still love my P line storm grey its so special that coincidence have the last serial number of my birth date n also same as my last serial phone number . Yea it happened n everyone knows me thoughts i ordered the serial number to match me ☺️
I've been riding this bike for about a month ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxwC0IIeIomGQVeBWg-kKJaToZkLEFIA2W and a half now and I think it's fantastic. It helps me get to work on time every day since I'm able to fit it inside of public transportation rush hour. The price is great too, people are always shocked when they ask me how much I paid for the fold up and I tell them "200". It's easy to fold and installation when it ships is insanely easy. All you have to install when the bike arrives is one foot pedal, everything else is done for you. I do recommend you carry some sort of wrench to tighten any loose screws on the handle bar and seat whenever they get a little bit loose. Other than that I think it's a fantastic bike. Easily fits in the home, can fit inside a car trunk and can even fit in subway rush hour.
Loved the 70's dress ... and the Bromptons.
Thank you 😊
I love my Apple Green Brampton. It is a 6H bought in 2013.
It is a lovely colour! Thanks for watching

Sure!! 😄And thanks for your video too 🙂
I already own my favourite one: 2016 M6R in British Racing Green. Have a nice trip everyone!
You too, thanks for watching!
Apple green, artic blue, baby pink and a bumblebee yellow ! Man I love all special editions and seasonal colours.
They are great aren’t they! Thanks for watching!

Your platform boots are so 70’s mood ! 😍 Great video thanks.
Thank you so much for watching! Not sure the boots were any good for riding in…..
Mine is an Apple Green H6. I love the green. Glad to see the colour back.
I think Brompton should make a special edition to match your gorgeous Boots. Nice video again.
Lol. As long as they don’t give them platforms! Nightmare to walk in!
Nice dress and boots!
Lol! Thanks!!
I was lucky enough to get one of these, in apple green. It is absolutely amazing, I love it! 💚
Arctic Blue, colour and name. Cheers 🇨🇦 here.
Thanks for watching! Also here in Canada this week 😀

Very nice.. I wish they would do more gloss finishes.. 😊❤
So nice to see these!
Yes, I'm looking to buy one but the dull matt colours put me off! What happened to gloss?

Wow you're looking good in that dress and boots :)
Thank you! And thank you for watching!
Hiya, when's the next Brompton video coming? All the Best! 😀
Brompton should have released a color just like the color of your boots. 😀
😀 😂 thanks!
Much nicer look, than the dark colors of these days IMO.
It is a pity that it is 3 speed only.
Ah 3 speed is kind of fun for commuting and a bit of exploring. Thanks for watching!
Which pump is included? Also I saw a Bumble Bee unpacking online and it seems to come with the old pump? Any reason why?
They come with the Zefal pump, as do the 2023 model Brompton’s. Not totally sure why, sorry!
Well there’s only one song that come to mind = These Boots are made for walking = Nancy Sinatra.
Thanks! Although I’m not totally sure how to walk in them!!!

Thank you so much!
Am I the only one that couldn’t tell the difference between cloud blue and arctic blue ?
The key difference is gloss compared to Matt. Thank you for watching
hahahaha it is very refreshing to see H in a dress :D
Thank you! My old favourite from when I was a student!
@@brilliantbikes Hi H
remember to do a review on the Brompton Explore V2 collaboration..
you can wear camo and weather boots :D
I like those thress colors , but it only comes with 3 speed, it is not good.
You could always upgrade it to a 6 speed 😀
Wish they'd spend more time improving the bikes than messing around with new colours every week.
Oh they do make lots of little improvements 😀. We must make a video on them!
Green looks like a hire bike and the other two are utterly horrible 😂
Who picks these colours?
😂 Brompton 😀. I rather like them all!
