- Boo to YOU and YOU and ALL OF US! Halloween is here once again and Quincy and Emma are first in line to see anything and everything at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! This year is full of extra surprises along the way plus some old favorites! Treats, shows, parades and CANDY! It's SOOOO SCARRY! (well not really that scary... read the title again.)

I am an AP and actually don’t agree to skip party days if you have a ticket. I actually recommend going on a party day because the wait times tend to be low all day! I’d say this is best for APs and Park hopper ticket holders. Do MK all day and then hop to a different park after 6 pm!!! The only thing you miss is the fireworks, and with a hopper or AP you can always see those another night. Happy partying!
Totally agree with you that except for missing fireworks going to MK on party days is delightful crowd wise. You can do as many rides as you can in longer, more crowded days

It's funny how the demand for character meet and greets differ from each Disney parks. WDW to DLP in the space of 6 months. We ditched the line to meet Jack at MNSSHP and walked up straight to meet him in DLP in his Sandy Claus outfit.
Love the costumes, Emma in black hair was interesting. Personally, I wouldn't pay for the party but only because the only thing that would interest me would be the parade.
I’m green with envy! I love MNSSHP. Not for me this year though. Thanks for doing this so I can live vicariously. ❤

10 days till I’m there! I’m counting down now! I’m not doing MNSSHP and specifically not going to MK on party days as I really want to see the fireworks (HEA is my favourite show) but I’m bummed because I know waits are low on party days. It looks like a fun time though!

If you guys are going back again, could you do a day at the park with a normal ticket PLUS the MNSS party after? Like which rides should you not wait in line for during the day that get WAY shorter at the event? Obviously Pirates is an event ride, but which others would you wait for the shorter lines? You guys are all awesome!!

One thing I’ve love to see the all ears crew do is show hacks/free things to do not in the parks. For example, go to dining places at resorts and show the “free entertainment “ you can do on those resorts. Maybe see if Animal Kingdom Lodge has paths or places to view animals without having to enter the park! I have a day where I have no plans I’m wondering what I can do without having to buy a park ticket!
You definitely can see animals at animal kingdom lodge. There are animal keepers/experts there to as well to give info answer questions or help spot animals. We always take time to just tour resorts on a trips. It a nice break from the busy parks and the resorts/ theming are incredible. I would highly recommend a skyliner resort crawl. It’s free to ride has great views and takes you to awesome resorts! Hope you have a great trip!

I appreciated how much you guys covered! TEAMWORK! I’m amazed Emma could stick with her outfit and wig in that heat. Often I’d prefer rain and a poncho to extreme heat but I would be crushed to miss parade and/or fireworks could they looked superlative.

A cast member told me that Tron was gone in 4 seconds. I was lucky enough to get on, but it was gone quick
Congratulations! How was the line? Was it 45 to an hour as usual or shorter at the party? Very curious about waits at tron and haunted mansion.

Love your costumes!!! The headless horseman was AMAZING :D! I agree, hands down best parade ever! My oldest is still reenacting the grave diggers from the parade.
We were there Friday night and surprised by a few things. We did also have a MK park ticket and it was much less crowded at rope drop Friday morning than Monday morning. We took a break and came back around 4:30PM Friday. We knew the party didn't "start" until 7PM but were unprepared for getting trapped by ropes between 5-7PM as the cast members weeded out people without party tickets. We had planned to go shopping and find some AC and food along main street around 5PM but we were trapped in fantasy land by ropes. Also, places you'd expect to take an AC break like Mickey's Philharmagic was closed because they were turning it into a candy stop.
For younger kids, I think these sort of events can be difficult/not worth the price since it seems like most of the fun/shorter lines happen between 10PM-midnight. The meet the character lines were an hour or more starting at 7PM which isn't doable for tiny humans either. When we started walking around to find candy around 7PM we didn't run into any of the different or special entertainment before the show at the castle started at 8:30PM.
ALSO - for those staying in a hotel/traveling, we had no way to remove our ribbon wrist bands. We had to hack at them with finger nail clippers forever! Those things are thick!
Overall - so fun but probably more so for adults than young kids!

Mickey's Not-So-Scary 😟 Halloween 🎃 Party 🎊 in Orlando, Florida happened on the month 🗓️ of October 🎃.
Love all ears but if you’ve got a park hopper ticket the best day to rope drop MK is a party day. Crowds are way down because many people (incorrectly) think that because they have to leave early they won’t get anything done. If you can come back to see fireworks another day, the lowest crowds are always rope drop party days and you can get way more done faster than non party days.
Oh man. I am doing a park and party day all in one because it’s all I had time for and I haven’t been to MK since 2004. I’m determined though and I’ve got a strategy! Lol
Silly question but are you entering the party gate at 6pm or do you get it at 4pm assuming you get there that early

I'm going Oct. 19 for my first time and I can't wait. I'm getting there at 4:00. I'll do some regular things I didn't do last year. I'm bringing my own bag to get more candy.
I was actually there that night. I met Quincy she was incredibly nice. I don’t know if she remembers me(I dressed as lilo) and my sister(she was dressed as stitch). We have a picture with her. That night was a great night.
Okay so everyone has to leave at 6, so is going to the park those days not worth it then? Because unless those days are a bit cheaper for normal tickets it seems like a waste to go to magic kingdom since you have to leave early.

I’m attempting to do a Mk day and mnsshp and I’m so pumped, I’m always the person in my group who is park open to park close and even when it’s park close I hide in the stores so I don’t have to leave😂 I know it might be a lot but I can’t wait

I met Jack and Sally at the Very Merry party. Waiting between 1 to 2 hours was worth it to meet them. Met Moana then too before she frequently visited more. That was in 2018.

There is an option to see for a party night that it rains at you can see if Disney is doing a refund pass To the party

Boy am I glad I dont live in FL. Looks stifling for Sept/Oct. We have finally hit the VERY LOW 70s/40s here thank god. Summer is GONE! Come October highs of the above 70s will be gone till 2024. Time of year where we shut the AC off for the rest of 2023
Disney is wayyyyyyy too expensive for the food not to be AMAZING. I heard “dry” to describe the food too many times.
