Absolutely! I’ve been waiting for Quincy’s D23 update. Quincy's reporting style is both meticulous and effortlessly comprehensible. Her warm and comforting demeanor, coupled with her thorough reporting, make her a joy to listen to.
Becca, props to you for spilling the truth. Things could have suffered when Molly left. They didn’t. A lot was thrown on Quincy’s shoulders and she came through like a pro…a pro that still has a blast at her job.
Give Queen Quincey a rise Allears! Seriously taking the crown for reporting on everything D23 ( and everything else Disney !) such a joyous positive spirit. ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you Quincey!!! Finally someone that put the announcements in the best order. 😊. Perfect facts and pictures to go with your announcements. I’ve watched many other Disney UA-camrs announcements and they keep saving Villans and Tropical Americas for last. And they’ve been rambling for 1-2 hours. Your video is perfect! Keep being you and doing what you do. And thank you Camera Person Emma.
I feel like that was more a product of the time where a lot of movies had rollercoasters in them to parody the park, not as a blueprint/design pitch for an actual well-flowing ride
When the girls chimed in from the back part of the room during the Disney cruise Hercules show mention, I was waiting for the "Hercules? You mean Hunk-ules" line joke 🤣.
As I mentioned in the chat, the loss of Tom Sawyer's Island is quite sad as that is one place in the Magic Kingdom that allows us individuals to decompress from all the overstimulation we experience in that park. My only hope is that Disney sets aside (maybe in Storybook Circus, for example, even though that area has smells that could overstimulate nowadays), a good quiet place away from the crowds to give individuals the opportunity to wind down and decompress. On less important note... always enjoy Cassie cameos and Emma antics as it wouldn't be an AllEars video without a little unhinged gremlin'ing. Much love and respect. 🤟
I think wiping out the Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer’s Island is horrible. I understand these may not be the most popular rides, but the area is beautiful and restful; and it’s nice to have a water element in the park. I don’t understand why it was not placed behind Big Thunder- it could have been an extension of Frontierland into the modern west. But placing it where they intend where kills the frontier theming and is also at odds with Liberty Square.
I love you guys. y'all do such an awesome job of reporting and we appreciate the reporting and the fun times!!! BTW - Really cool frames, Quincy!!! Y'all ROCK!!
Not crazy about Cars in Frontierland. It smacks of stuffing rides in wherever they found a spot whether it was thematically appropriate or not. I like that there are several dark rides planned. I personally prefer them to thrill rides, so that makes it very intriguing to me.
I hate to see the Liberty Belle and Tom Sawyer's Island go away, but kids these days are more familiar with off-roading than Tom Sawyer. Sign of the times.
I wish they’d have a quick service and even some shopping at Tom Sawyer. It’s such a great spot over there. I am also sad that the Boneyard is going away. Those two places were nice more low key spots to hang out.
A nighttime parade! This may make me the most excited! Oh, also a pirate’s tavern. Tropical Americas will be so colorful and filled with wonderful upbeat music. I am sorry for people attached to the river boat, I know if they took away my favorite, The Peoplemover, I would be bereft. What an awesome D23!
its 2 am where im from (south florida) (i mean during d23 it was 2 am) and i still stayed up with my entire family to watch it. we were all so tired and about to just turn it off and go to bed when i insisted they stayed. two mins later, they announced villians land! so glad they stayed awake lol.
Getting rid of the river will take the kinetic energy out of the space. Then they will have the same problem that they have with both of the Galaxy's edge areas which is essentially a dead area, void of movement. The whole point of buying cheap land in Florida was the parks could expand. So expand Magic Kingdom instead of filling the river with cement.
There were so many awesome announcements at D23. A big thanks to the whole AE team for bringing us all the news so quickly and concisely. The silliness happening in the background of this video was so funny. 😂
I really hope it all comes to fruition. The concept art in the past few years doesn't always turn out as expected (Epcot's latest "renovations" and several resorts is proof of that) I really hope I am wrong and that Disney will finally deliver 🤞
Omg my favorite of D23 Part is the monster ride and well each added thing to every park and well the overall plan disney has for the future of all the Disney parks around the world together ❤
For years I’ve wanted both a Monsters Inc doors ride and an Emperor’s New Groove coaster. So I’m quite excited about the doors coaster. But Disney, you missed the chance to add an Yzma coaster in the new South America land in Animal Kingdom! Fun music, lovable villains, Peru, AND A LLAMA! It’s perfect. Not sure why that didn’t happen.
I’m interested to see where they decide to put some of these lands especially over in DCA! Can’t wait to see these concepts come to fruition. So many things to look forward to!
My husband has also been saying for years that Disney missed an opportunity by not making a Monsters Inc. door ride. We are so excited for this! I was thinking it might be taking over the Star Wars Launch Bay Area since the Little Mermaid show has been closed for so long and the Launch Bay is not used for much except meet and greets, which could be done elsewhere. But who knows. Just happy to be getting it
There is a NEW Little Mermaid show opening in the same theater this fall but I do still think this is the prime location for the new Monsters Inc land. I used to work at that park when it was MGM and there is a lot of real estate behind Animation Courtyard to work with. Another reputable channel said that the Muppets are safe and this is where it was going. That being said, Disney hasn’t confirmed anything yet.
Given the fiasco with Tiana and Epcot... we may get some of these things about 10 years from now, but it will probably be nowhere near what was promised based on concept drawings.
I can't believe Tom swayer island is going to be gone. They have playgrounds for the smaller kids. This is a great place for tweens and teens to go let off steam and energy so they can be more ready to properly stand in lines . Plus you could let your 8-12 year olds explore the island for more independence but know that they couldn't get off the island without you. My parents use to love to go sit on the liberty belle and just relax for 20 minutes while we did big thunder and splash. Disney use to pride theirselves in the fact that they had something for everyone. I know the cars is to be for smaller drivers but what about getting their energy out. walt loved history but you just took so much of it away. I know cars is an adventure but this is frontierland not be outside land. 😡😡😡
The door area of the ride you weren't sure about in villians land gave me jafar vibes - not really the rest of it though, but it reminded me of the jewel on his hat. When I went to Disney for the first time at age 10, my mom worked for AT&T and we got to go into the space in spaceship earth - it was some sort of offices or meeting space - if I remember correctly. And AT&T employees and their families could go in and get water and snacks. I thought it was the coolest, so I would definitely go to a lounge there!
I thought about you and Emma when I heard about Tom Sawer’s Island being turned into a cars section because I know how much you both enjoyed it. I know a lot of people are going to have a lot to say about the change. I never really enjoyed that section of the park, so I am looking forward to the new Cars Land.
I hate that Disney world can't do much with the Avengers. They did GREAt with GOG and these other concepts look so much better. I love Universal but I think the Avengers section could be better and more geared toward comic versions.
Hope we get a roller coaster that puts all the villains together to try and stop us! So seeing the dark scenes jumping from character to character like Hades, cruella, jafar, Ursula, maleficent etc would be pretty insane
I believe the new Monsters area will be where Launch Bay is. The concept art is U-shaped and there's an empty merch building on the left, then you have launch bay and then you have the building on the right with the Junior Dance Party. I think these three are ripe to be torn down and used for Monsters.
Absolutely devastated over the loss of Tom Sawyers island and riverboat . It is nostalgia that brings us to Disney and they are taking away those things that brought us back year after year.
I think a wicked cool villains ride would be like a slow dark ride but somehow they change which villain you get when y you ride kindof like guardians with the songs: I don’t know how they’d pull it off but I think they could !
I am excited for the new areas in Disney World but am very, very disappointed that they are taking away the riverboat and waterway in Frontierland. It is such a beautiful and peaceful area of the park and it will become just more hard asphalt with crowds and noise and chaos.
What I love about my few big Disney Channel social media content is that everyone has a little different view of the announcements made at D23. For the most part, a unified success by all on all the upcoming projects presented at D23. Yes, there are a few rumblings of shock. But, that is expected. Most displeasantrieies are from the common park goes and yes, still fans of Disney, but complaining about a Cars Land with difficulties accepting that Tom Sawyer Island and Rivers of America are going away. I guess Emma will not have to endure the caves anymore. Also, to include Indy incoming, as well Avatar to DCA. To them I say, just wait. Yes they will be different. But when you compare time spent in WDW to DLR, there is a vast difference. DLR will soon be able to compete in longer stays for a more complete vacation.
I really hope they find a home for the riverboat. It would be a shame for Disney to lose the Liberty Belle. Maybe they could move it to Disney Springs?
A lot of exciting news. Wow! I can't remember the last time I have heard of this many new things coming. Rivers of America going away is unfortunate though. That area is one of the most beautiful in the park because of the river. We'll see how that turns out. Wasn't there going to be a new Avengers ride at DCA similar to Guardians Cosmic Rewind? I live in California, but my favorite ride is in Florida. So I am hoping a version of it comes to DCA!
Did u see what potentially looks like a roller coaster in the water area on the bottom of the Villians land artwork? 😮 it looks like it’s above the water but look there.
I told my husband that we are now 100% going to Disneyland, he has been stubborn about going anywhere besides WDW, but there is no way I am not going to see that Walt animatronic. I'm also not sad about Tom Sawyer Island getting replaced, though I could care less about Cars, but the last and only time I went over there was my very first trip in 2007.
I am completely uninterested in Cars, but I'm sure it's perfect for someone, so I'm happy for that person! I'm looking forward to Coco! And we can talk about Bruno NOW, post movie! Bruno and his rat friends are my favorite! Bruno Bruno Bruno!
Coco is a perfect fit for Cal Adv and I think they will place it somewhere near where thy hold the Plaza de la Familia celebration. I also think Epcot will get a version in Mexico at some point in time.
I’m happy that Disney announced all these plans. I think we were all hoping to hear big news especially for the parks section. I know that we must continue looking forward but it was very sad to hear that another classic attraction at MK is getting replaced. This was such a great spot to go relax and unwind from the crowds. The area where the Riverboat is one of the most significant water features in this park so it does hurt a little. I’m excited about Villains Land…it’s been a long time coming. The town to the left looks to me it could come from the Hunchback of Notre Dame maybe? There also seems to be another town next to it on the back (it has like lights shining on it). Maybe that relates to Magnifico in the movie Wish? There also seems to be a forest area perhaps? Would love to see Madam Mim and Mother Gothel represented in there. The rocks at the front reminds me of Scar..for some reason. I’m excited for the future and what’s to come. I hope we do see all these plans come to hapoen and be built. Can’t wait to hear more news about it! Great job ladies!
I think the Coco ride is a preview. Once disney sees how well it is received, they’ll have the data to prove that 3 Caballeros can be kicked out! (I love 3 Caballeros but if they did this, I’d be ok with it)
when i look at the bottom of the villains land photo, it looks like some sort of ride is going to be there? you can sort of see a vehicle moving with a track in that rocky area with water falling here and there. im not totally sure, but thats what i first assumed when i saw it.
I could imagine they use the new floor technology that they showed at D23 were they can moving people even on chairs. This lightbulb has come to me yesterday since it would fit pretty well in Encanto since the floor in the film also moves around things. Perhaps they already may used that technology in the Star Wars Galactic Starcruisers in the Action fight from Kylo and Rey were he took her to him. It may have been a earlier stage of that technology but who knows it could have been.
I don't mind too much about Tom Sawyer Island but I thought that the Liberty Belle Riverboat went along well with Tiana's Bayou Adventure ride and the rumored retheme of the Pecos Bill restaurant. Sorry to see the river go but very much looking forward to the Cars land. Not sad about Dinoland being replaced but I hope they include some actual animal attractions in the Tropical Americas area. Perhaps a new trail?
Monster’s Inc. land will be great! I think the overall land will be cool and the door coaster will be awesome. My bet is they put it where the Muppets are (😢)- that’s the only bummer.
When looking at the two different concept art renderings for Monsters Inc land could it be one design for if it went in Animation Courtyard and one design for Muppets courtyard? I keep on going back and forth but Fry threw a wrench in things and mentioned Rock n Roller coaster, which I wouldn’t be surprised about either… wonder how long it will be before they let us know….
I will believe it when I see it. They said no blue sky but then had blue sky. And what a horrible dumb idea to destroy the river of America. It will look so dumb to have a cartoon cars ride next to frontierland and what is suppose to feel like a real life land.
Do we know yet if the Dinosaur carnival games will still be available through the end of November 2024? I can’t get back to Disney until then, and I want to get an Iguanodon dinosaur before they go away forever 😭😭
Any discussion at the event even just among attendees about The finding Nemo show? Is it staying and being incorporated into tropical americas even though Australia based or is it being removed?
I believe the Fortnight Tease (though I don't play) is in lou of COD using wrestlers from WWE in their came. To me, it just makes sense to transition some games with other IP's as characters. Just a thought.
The only announcement I’m not happy about is the loss of Dinosaur. 😢 I know it was in the plans for awhile but I’ll be so sad to see it go. I do like that although they are using similar land ideas they aren’t just reusing the ride stories. I cannot wait for Monsters Inc & have said every time I watch it that not creating a ride for the doors scene is such a missed opportunity so I’m thrilled they’re finally doing it! I’m excited to see the Villains land & the Cars attractions. I think it’ll be such a nice addition and hey now we don’t have to hear about anyone trying to swim in the river after this is done😂
Not overly optimistic that Disney can actually do all of these projects at once. How long has it taken just to revamp Splash Mountain. Doing all of these projects seems like a 15 year project.
I'm so jealous of the lion king land! Why wouldn't they do one Tiana and one Lion King in the US and the second Tiana overseas?! Give us more of a reason to visit both coasts with varied rides.
RE Where will Monster's Inc go... I think it'll be replacing star tours (very old attraction/equipment ... rumored to use body wars parts), pizze rizzo and the whole building/mama melrose and the middle gift shop that's been closed. I think you'd keep muppets because they're kind of monsters, right? Also, spill out a bit into the walkway to galaxy's edge/baseline. Maybe re-theme the dine in theatre to monsters inc too. They'll probably reroute cypress drive on the outside into the existing parkling lot to also make more room. Basically if you look at the street view concept art and align the building on the right with the red and white auning to the auning at the entrance to mama melrose. Also, notice the water tower in the concept art matches the design of the one over pizze rizzo's.
Good job on the middle of the night reporting, loved the re-enactment. I will probably be booed but I wish they would take a little of the money they are going to sink into all this and just up the customer service experience back to where it used to be. Hire some more CM's and make the parks clean again, put back some of the things they took away during the trying times, etc. I'm also a little confused about how some of these things fit into the theming of where they are going or are they just ignoring their own theming. For example: I never understood Tiana's in Frontierland (for that matter how the heck did Splash Mountain fit there?). Pandora and DinoLand in AK was stretching it but it looks the Tropical America's might not even be pretending to be animal related except the one ride. Having said that, I am excited about some of the new rides, not so much about the construction walls, but some of the rides sound fun.
I have to say the one thing that really bothers me is their destruction of Rivers of America and changing Frontierland to include living cars instead of reproducing the American frontier. I am hoping that this becomes one of those plans that never comes to fruition. It’s not that I don’t want to see Cars attractions, but I don’t want to see Frontierland’s thematic integrity destroyed.
Quincy: your dedication to this channel doesn’t go unnoticed : you are up in the middle of the night recording just so we can get the news asap : I was looking forward to your video because you always explain things so thoroughly and helpfully ❤ thank you !

I feel like they should do an emperor new ride ride in villains land. The movie had a rollercoaster lol.

Or as an expansion to the Americas. Peru is obviously not Central America, but could be connected pretty easily.
When the girls chimed in from the back part of the room during the Disney cruise Hercules show mention, I was waiting for the "Hercules? You mean Hunk-ules" line joke 🤣.
The villains land during Halloween will. Be. So. Much. FUN!

So excited about all these changes coming! Villains land and the Monsters Inc coaster are among my favorite announcements! Can’t wait!!!
I'm so stoked for villains and monsters inc 👍👍
My favorite announcement is the Walt Disney project for Disneyland. The whole thing is surreal. ❤️
I hate to see the Liberty Belle and Tom Sawyer's Island go away, but kids these days are more familiar with off-roading than Tom Sawyer. Sign of the times.
Me too, I really wish that they didn't remove any of the Rivers of America, it is an iconic part of the Disney Parks

Night time parade is one of my core memories when I was a little kid!
A nighttime parade! This may make me the most excited! Oh, also a pirate’s tavern. Tropical Americas will be so colorful and filled with wonderful upbeat music. we think it's in the caverns! you can see waterfalls on the sides if you look closely
Oh you should come to Disneyland- I think there will be some awesome stuff going on for the 70th.
Thanks for sharing. 👍
I am completely uninterested in Cars, but I'm sure it's perfect for someone, so I'm happy for that person! I'm looking forward to Coco! And we can talk about Bruno NOW, post movie! Bruno and his rat friends are my favorite! Bruno Bruno Bruno!
I think the theming of frontier land will be broken with the changes.
They should put the muppet land in replacement of Star wars launch bay. Leave my muppets alone please.
(I love 3 Caballeros but if they did this, I’d be ok with it)
Watching on two devices right now.😂
Monster's Inc. Land looks like it might be in Animation Courtyard.
when i look at the bottom of the villains land photo, it looks like some sort of ride is going to be there? you can sort of see a vehicle moving with a track in that rocky area with water falling here and there. im not totally sure, but thats what i first assumed when i saw it.
Can you upload some of your experiences at D23 like your interview with Mickey.
We all knew who was working the camera, lol. "Give us one second while Emma posts Quincy's bail" & the Deadpool section 🤣🤣
Quincy and All Ears Team… do you think the house in the Villains Land concept art could be Cruella Deville’s house?!
I would love to see a hades ride.
I will believe it when I see it. They said no blue sky but then had blue sky.
And what a horrible dumb idea to destroy the river of America. It will look so dumb to have a cartoon cars ride next to frontierland and what is suppose to feel like a real life land.
I'm all in for Disney to be getting new attractions. But that doesn't mean they should be removing something just to had something .
I'd rather keep Cars out of Frontierland. I dont want DL & WDW to be copies of each other. I also love the vibes right now so we'll see how it goes.
I think monsters inc will be replacing muppets. That area is always empty.
I believe the Fortnight Tease (though I don't play) is in lou of COD using wrestlers from WWE in their came. To me, it just makes sense to transition some games with other IP's as characters. Just a thought.
That looks like Jim Shore
Cars!!!!!
