It's funny that Killer closed his right eye since it's the only socket that could have an eyelight. Even funnier considering he'd probably open his left eye on purpose to show people who know what happens that his eye is in fact empty.

It is confirmed in the comic that when you can see one of his pupils, it is when he is expressing his past “original” sans personality.
