the atmosphere of Vetch Field is very well reflected in the documentary "the final day", about 2 clubs fighting for relegation from the lowest English professional league.
the park stadium had a capacity of 72,000 only at the end of the nineties was the south curve converted into seats so that only 62,000 went in. In 2001, the Parkstadion was replaced by the Arena auf Schalke, now better known as the Veltins Arena
Highfield Road looked like a great football ground. I bet in hindsight they wish they were still there. Also the old Zenit stadium looked very similar to some of the old Portuguese stadiums.
Highfield Road was a great stadium, but I also went a few times to the ‘Ricoh’ (note to AI speaker, not pronounced ‘Rioch!’) I also watched my team play at Plough Lane at least twice and I never saw us lose there.
Why you didn't add these demolished stadiums in Indonesia? 1.Lebak Bulus Stadium: Home to Persija Jakarta. Now transformed to MRT subway. 2.Ikada Stadium: Used for Indonesian national team games in early 1950s before it was transformed to National Monument (Monas) during the preparation of 1962 Asian Games. 3.Mattoanging Stadium: Home to PSM Makassar. Demolished during the Covid-19. Also, there are some stadiums that aren't demolished, but never used today: 1.10 Nopember: Home to Persebaya Surabaya before Gelora Bung Tomo. 2.Sriwedari: Home to Persis Solo before Manahan. 3.Siliwangi: Home to Persib Bandung before Si Jalak Harupat and Gelora Bandung Lautan Api.
