When my Dad passed, my GSD helped me get through some bad days. I lost that dog six years later, and still miss him as much as Dad.
I've had four GSDs in my nearly 60 years on Earth; ALL were Rescues! I still miss ALL of them! If my health were better, I'd have number five today. They're wonderful friends!

Dogs know exactly how we are feeling I had a collie, I had the flu and was pretty sick. She would come to where I was sitting and jump up on me and lay her head on my chest like she was listening to my heart or breathing or something. She would jump down and then a little while later she would come back and do it again she did that for hours. She was a total sweetheart I miss her.
