  • In this third & final video I finally weave the log cabin place mats. Log cabin is a plain weave structure that creates horizontal and vertical stripes that can switch direction depending on whether you weave light or dark on shaft 1 or shaft 2.

      I believe you are asking for the amount of yarn used in the pattern. The weft used 622 yards of 3/2 mercerized cotton divided between light and dark. The weft used 444 yards of the same light and dark yarn. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
