Super rare video sir good job. I hope Duterte would adopt the Soviet-style military traditions like the goose stepping, uniforms (although the current uniforms looks good too), and that bad ass yell after the speech, for our Armed Forces. So that during the Independence Day Parade in Luneta we would hear the soldiers shouting "MABUHAY!" Greetings from the Philippines

I thought of a Russian-style military drills for us before but no. We're not like them. I respectfully beg to disagree. Anyways, thanks for appreciating this video! Please do leave a 👍 if you'rd impressed!

I don't want to spark an argument sir but if we can drill like the Americans, why don't we try doing the same with our Russian comrades? Btw I really appreciate the reply sir and wishing you the best for future videos. Kudos!

@@drinianordanel592 We can be friends with Russia but not too much before they put their interests on us. Of course, knowing their history. That's how I see Russia and I'm not pro-Russia that's why my view is like this. I'm more pro-Pinoy. Makabayan ako. But don't worry. I have nothing against you personally. It's just we differ in our views. Wish you also the best and please do enjoy my posts and repost for educational purposes! MABUHAY!

@@drinianordanel592 You know, your idea of a Russian-style military parade in Luneta made me think. After the playing of Lupang Hinirang, the troop commander should shout "MABUHAY ANG PILIPINAS!!" wherein all the troops and the populace (ang sambayanan) will respond "MABUHAY!!". This is inspired of the Ukrainian battle cry of "SLAVA UKRAINI! HEROYAM SLAVA!". This is my alternative to the Russian-style review of troops in the parade.

I actually envision that thing during the review of troops sir. In our case, it may be the Defense Secretary or the AFP Chief of Staff would take salute, then here's how would it go:
Defense Secretary: Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!/Long Live the Philippines!
Troops: Mabuhay ang Sambayanan!/Long Live the People!
Defense Secretary: Mga kawal mula sa (ngalan ng batalyon) ng (sangay ng paglilingkod), binabati ko kayo sa pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Kalayaan!/Troops from the (name of battallion) from (service branch), I greet you on the celebration of Independence Day.
The soldiers would then respond with a threefold "Mabuhay!" Yah, derived from the Ukrainian battle cry "Slava Ukraini/Heroyam Slava."
