Mate, problem with power is because of intake. Get yourself some sort of ebay cold intake. Some kind of hose from grills to filter. She needs to get air from outside, not from hot radiator. Also you can get m50 intake manifold, m50 intake cam for exhaust cam (you’ll just need to install it 180 degree from marks you’ll have) and m54 intake cam for intake. All those parts you can get from junkyard Little bit of tune and you’ll gain some power. Enjoy)

@@bulvekasis6954 cold intake, exhaust and tune… anything else is waste of money and time, because it’s easier and cheaper to just swap to 2.8… if you’ll try same mods as on 2.8, (like m50 intake)you could loose torque on lower rpm which is critical for your engine, because it’s not too much of torque there.
You can try cams, but I’m not sure if it helps a lot on those engines, i think gains are not worth money and effort, you can gain like 5hp from cams. Otherwise, turbo, or nitrous
But it’s not worth it
I would say just catless exhaust with sport muffler and tune. Leave stock air intake on, it’s not that bad on bmw’s. And if you want to go faster, weight reduction is one more option

@2:03 I had the some issue of the shaking in the past on my e46. It turns out that the 3 and 5 series have slightly different diameter wheel hubs. 72mm on the 3 and 74mm on the 5 I believe. a 5 series rim would fit on the 3 but would shake like that. I found some hub spacer adapter to fit into the rim to reduce the diameter from 74mm to 72mm. check to see if that helps, it was seriously a couple dollar fix!
