Hi Emma-- I just finished getting caught up on your videos after I replaced watching TV/Netflix with your channel! I was getting tired of the over-dramatized, worldly content. Your videos and your mindset of being transparent and honest and finding the joy in the ordinary and keeping your eyes open to God's blessings...it was exactly the change in content i needed 💗 Thank you for being real and sharing your days with us! As a fellow teacher, I really resonate with your summer break from teaching content and just wanted to let you know that all of your videos (teaching and motherhood and life) add joy to my days--thank you! 🤗

Thank you for posting this... As a 2nd year teacher, after a challenging first year in the classroom, losing my grandmother who raised me, moving to a different grade level and just really not been feeling like myself.... this has really helped me. Thank you for all you do to help inspire teachers.

I absolutely adore Reminders of Him & Ugly Love! I was hooked the entire time & finished them so quickly because I want to see what happened. Definitely worth it!

It is very easy to get in a rut as a mom. I have two daughters and have had many days like this! Number one thing for me is to get out of my house for a little bit (walk, store, taking a ride, etc). I also LOVE creative outlets. I made so many things for my classroom this summer. Now I'm trying to read, but it's hard when I get interrupted constantly by my 4 year old. These things help me immensely!

I usually take a walk! And bonus…I can come up with a mental to do list while walking.

Thanks for another great video, I really needed it today. So far this morning I have accomplished so many little things to feel better about life in general. Also hearing some new ideas helps too.

Clean or organize something… closet, drawers, cabinets, etc. those things help me if in a rut. I take walks with my dogs and read every day so those things always help.

Loving this type of vlog, Emma. ❤️
I personally love being active whenever I’m in a funk. From going on a long walk at my favorite spot, a short run, gym, and even mowing the lawn, lol! Anything that can help pump those endorphins out! But like you mentioned - finding what you need for that day or that moment is important. 💙

Have you ever read Redeeming Love? It's based off of the book of Hosea in the Bible. I have read it multiple times and love it all over again! It's got the romance and an amazing message.

Do you think a lot of people who are teachers start feeling this way at this point in summer… knowing that it’s almost over?
