February 2020 saw McDonald's release 8 Rubik's Cube Happy Meal toys in Australia! My daughter and I LOVE cubes, so this review was a no-brainer! But first, we had to collect them all. (And eat a lot of fries in the process.)

OMG! My first cube was the 2x2 from these happy meals. Only 7 weeks later I’m able to solve a 3x3 under 2 minutes, as well as now solving 4x4, 5x5, pyraminx and a few others. If it wasn’t for the happy meal dropping a 2x2 in my hands I may not have even been watching this video.....
I have to say if it wasn’t for Maccas I would not have found this wonderful obsession with cubing.

If you’re struggling to rip open the plastic bag of your Happy Meal toy, carefully look for a tiny open hole on the bag. Once you found such tiny hole, try ripping it open from there

Agreed. The Hex is quite good and I genuinely hate the 2x2x2. I actually walked past the 2x2x2 a short while ago and started to scramble it and after just 2 moves I put it back because I really didn't want to go through the pain of solving it.

You can actually get full sized ones of the cylinder puzzles! They’re super fun and pretty simple. I think there’s 3 sizes that range in difficulty.

The cylinder and hex are just easy versions of a puzzle I have which has 7 or 8 layers

Decoder & Hex - I've had this same puzzle since the 80s under the name Whip-it (or maybe Whippit, there's no name on the puzzle itself and the package is long gone). I consider it the easiest puzzle I own. It's one of the few I figured out how to solve without having to read some kind of a solution.
You can also make different patterns with it, such as having the colors go horizontally rather than vertically. It's no harder to do, it just gives it a different look. Also, start from a finished puzzle and turn the top one notch in either direction, and the bottom one notch in the opposite direction. It staggers the colors in a pleasing diagonal pattern.
I've also seen variations that have more than three tiles. They're solved in exactly the same way though.
There was also a puzzle that I believe was called The Missing Link. It was four sided and had the same sliding tiles, but they had colored chains on them, so you not only had to line up the colors, but also put the chain pieces in order. I never had that one.
You could also solve it with each colour diagonally.

While recycling plastic straws would be nice, the majority of plastic straws were never recycled, and the market for recycled straw plastic just is not great.
No, they don't biodegrade, because of the wax coating, it is impossible for them to biodegrade or recycle.
