‘EDGE’ sets the mood with a glassy drone, focusing on the fluctuations of a limited palette of breathwork. The core of the vocal performance is preserved in such a way that it enhances the uprising sonic environment through natural crescendo-like vines shaped by a rhythmic LFO.
A rich atmospheric journey is created by the absence of ambient clichés, steadily evolving in intensity to deliver a powerful climax abruptly stopped with the press of an old radio button. This track evokes the unconscious desire to linger in pleasure & pain, holding your breath, standing at the edge of safety & danger.
Made only using a modular synth with a feminine touch. This track sounds like something you’d hear at a yoga retreat, scored by Abul Mogard.
