- So in Corona they have ticketing backwards. The postal service can ticket you for parking in front of the mail box, but the street sweeper doesn't ticket for parking in the street on sweeping day.
He also didn't like going under the trees much to my chagrin. My OCD is driven freaking crazy when the sweeper can't get the street clean. - Авто та транспорт
my son is 4 and loves this video
"Good morning, where u going? I like to party drunk" 1:51
Interesting that it’s cng. Nice catch
The trees need a trimming....
More than you can imagine. There are SO MANY birds that live those trees. Cars are destroyed every night.
My City have Elgin Whirlwind sweeper , really it's so efficient
I saw a lot of videos and notice that Elgin pelican may widely famous in Us more than Crosswind , why?
My suspicions are because "it looks super weird" and it's a purpose built vehicle from the bottom up, unlike the Crosswind which is a body, installed on a chassis.
It needs a plow up front to push the cars onto the sidewalk and out of the way.
On another note, I can't believe I watched this and found it interesting.
Some people draw lines in rock gardens... some people spray down concrete, some people paint. It's zen, meditation, order to chaos, whatever. There is just something oddly satisfying about watching dirty things become clean. Street sweeper videos have an oddly satisfying quality.
@@shadofax96 Running one is even more satisfying... I love my job.
There's one drawback on tymco sweepers they have a hard time when it comes to Pine needles
...and wet leaves. I've watched these since I was a kid and frankly I have never been too impressed by their performance when things get wet.
Your not going to have any luck sucking up a lot of wet material. Even with the BAH. As for Pine needles, if your pick up head is adjusted off the ground a bit, and your pressure bleeder is adjusted correctly, needles will suck up as long as your tube doesn't get clogged with a branch or 2. I've sucked up huge piles at my company during leaf season. It's all on the operator's experience.
How much do they get paid......anyone know?
Based on my experience talking to people in jobs like this in So-Cal I suspect it's between $50k-$100k
I work there and we get paid 60k to 80k a year : D
They get paid like 18-22 per hour real money is in trash if you can get a job in a good company
Why is going around cars when they are not even there????
Edit: I am so confused
He didn't want to run into the trees that were hanging too low for him to drive by. Didn't want to scratch the truck up.
MrBillT oh ok I see thank you
Yep trees can make a good day go bad very fast. This video is an excellent example of how to avoid trees, and what the streets can look like if the residents or HOA doesnt trim them away from the street.
