@@atommachine I've only used the MPC One, but it's more about the plugins than the hardware and my personal favorite plugin synths are Hype and Jura. Hype comes with the One and Live, you need to buy Jura.
@@atommachineYou can, that's what I did with this one. I didn't need to do any chopping, I just assigned each sample to a pad after recording it. I enjoy using the plugins more so far though because I like assigning the synth parameters of those to the Q-link encoders, it sounds a bit better to me than using plugin effects on a synth that I sampled. No problem.

@@soundofmai can you sample your outboard synths and chop to pads with long tails with delay ect? Thanks for the heads up on the plugins. 👍
