I was wondering if changing the sampling pourcentage might have a positive effect on your case ? Also you did not speak about the table structure (does it have a Primary Key?), couldn't that have an effect on the statistics without having to make a full scan (which can be very time-consuming on very large databases, im speaking of tera-octets) ?
Do we have any queries to check how much time will take to complete update statistics
The runtime was the same, what was the point of all that?
If 3 second is the normal metric for execution time how did he say one minute and 37 second is not a big deal ?
Is full scan the same as 100 percent actual sample rate?
