I disagree... VW's prices for a 4-cylinder GTI have become fairly ridiculous in the last several years. GTI's and R's were never really reasonable to begin with. Now their almost unreachable for many people. $33,000.00 (almost 34) for an "S" model? VW have lost their minds!
Sure I have. They're ALL outrageous! I'm not just picking on one brand. But it just happens that this is the brand of my choice. Auto dealers/manufacturers have lost their minds. I know it's not entirely their fault... but ridiculous nevertheless.@@dunli2600
I know. It's a fantastic car, but they always dumb the looks of the base model with awful wheels. Austin, Dallas, Richmond, just plain awful. Type of stuff you would see on a Hyandai Santa Fe.
So they give customers an actual knob for the S model with a tiny LCD, but not for the SE and Autobahn? All of those haptic buttons, knobs and sliders are what keeps me from purchasing a new GTI to replace my Mk7. But hey... that's just me. Not to mention they are too cheap to even offer SiriusXM any longer on the "S" model.
I love your videos. You know your product inside and out. 💯
I appreciate that!
I love this car
I still have a 2011 GTi bro 💪🔥❤️ I love it
GTI is always a great ride!
Nice detailed review. How tall are you and can three adults fit comfortably in the back?
I am right at 6ft. The middle seat will be snug for an adult.
@@vwguru Thank you for your reply and honesty! Yeah, you looked really comfortable but it sounds like it's a bit narrow for three adults
Bro come get my 2017 Prius lol. It’s paid off and you can have it. Gimme the GTI 😅
😂🤣😂
Any decent lease options on the GTI
For the price and what you get the S is a perfect car.

Im thinking the same 34k but the car drive beautifully
People are so delusional. All new cars drive beautifully because they have new tires.@@danielsmt0766
@@4GuitarTrancehave you seen what other brands are asking for their cars ?

No switch blade keys
Nope. VW has gone away from those on everything but Jetta and Tiguan.
Those stupid wheels.

No XM radio? My MK6 had XM radio! C’mon VW! 😅
Nice review. Looks like you get a loss less car compared to previous generations. The interior and dashboard look so cheap.

I wish they would add the light bar at the front as a universal option 😔
Those icons in all red make it very hard to read. It's an awful infotainment system.
you have infinite color options
You didn't watch the beginning of the video where he talks about changing colors?
