@@bellydavezx10r48 yes $1300 is the price listed on the replacement parts the dealer purchased. Which e plains why they wanted to put something aftermarket on it because it would have been cheaper to go slip ons for them
@@muhammadsteinberg nah them damn cannons are actually listed at 1300. So maybe 1450 once you factor in shipping for them heavy things. I'm not even sure why they cost that much
Hey man, can you maybe give some pointers on how you removed the blue accent parts and repainted them? Mine's the thundergray one with red accents and I hate them, I want to paint them matte black or gloss black but not exactly sure if it's hard process to take them off the bike and how I should paint them, or if it's better to wrap them, I'd imagine paint is much better
I had to take off my fairings to put on a radiator guard. The color accents seem like they could unscrew and unclip fairly easy. I have the red ones so I don't mind. Trying to put money into stuff I need. Lol. Good luck. It should work out.
Just a note on size if you try to source bolts from a local hardware store or parts house; M8 1.25 x 25mm.

@@ramairglenn my son and I are doing the Pentacarbon right at the moment on my 22; we had the same issue with bent bolts and are pulling the old copper gaskets as we “speak”. I’m off to Napa while he keeps on with the prep. We pulled the oil cooler from the start, which was a big help FYSA 🤙🏽

once you pull off the fairing, are you able to access the mirror bolts?

Damn bro!...That bolt issue pissed me off!...You maintained your cool rather nicely. Hopefully nothing was damaged like cross threads or stripping by the gorilla with a tool. SMDH

Nothing was damaged. The new bolts went in no issues and there weren't any cracks thankfully. Things that aren't in your control should never stress you out because you have no say in the matter. Plus it's fixable. Exhaust alone was over 30lbs if I remember and I'm not sure weight loss equates to HP but it does equates to quicker acceleration
Did you do anything different on that hard pull acceleration feel on the gen3?
Can you remember the dimensions / sizes of the exhaust bolts ? I'd like to have a set on hand ready to go when I do mine. Thanks for any info.
I dont know the sizes but i just ordered oem header bolts. Their the same as the Gen 2

Hey bro did the OEM exhaust have that goofy back pressure valve in it or did you just have to take out the the O2 sensors and pretty much undo everything and the exhaust came out? thanks.
No sir it did not have that valve
