Judy, Great finishing tutorial; a refresher course is always in order! Meeting a favorite Flosstuber in person is a real treat. I met Annie Turner, The Proper Stitcher at my LNS several months ago and again yesterday. It was Annie that introduced me to your designs & floss tube videos when you first started filming them and I was instantly hooked! Thank you for sharing your time & talents with us and sharing your beautiful designs! Until next time, xoxo
Judy, I would be so honored to meet you some day...but until then, I enjoy every minute with you on FlossTube! Thank you for sharing your time & talent with us! xoxo@@jbwdesignscrossstitch4750
Judy, I am so happy to have found you. I've been hearing The Proper Stitcher talk about you forever, but just felt I had so many things in my stash, I just couldn't follow anyone else. But. . . . .then I saw your A Round Britain and A Stitcher's Stocking designs, and I had to have them. That, of course led to watching your FlossTube. I've only seen a few episodes now, but I am enjoying them so very much. Today's was so helpful with finishing tips, since I'm moving right along on A Stitcher's Stocking. I love your gentle and quiet spirit that comes through your videos. What a joy to have found you, except that now I have a found a lot more charts to stitch! Blessings 🙂
The flowers in the vase on the desk behind you are beautiful! I always enjoy seeing the arrangements. Thank you for the finishing refresher. Happy stitching!
Judy, thank you for the finishing tutorial! I just finished stitching 7 of your Reindeer Stocking ornaments, now I need to get going on the finishing of them. This will be my first time finishing something that isn't a circle, square, or rectangle, so the tutorial was very helpful.
Found your channel through Teresa Little Stitcher. Thank you so much for sharing your finishing tips. Good stuff. I generally don’t make plans for my cross stitching but I think I’m going to dedicate working on your designs n January. I’ll call it JBW January. I have so many of your patterns and they’re so cute. ❤
Such a wonderful video! Thank you for sharing all the finishing techniques and tools. Loving all of your Christmas ornaments…the little square one with the mini Rick Rack is so cute! 😊🎄❤🎄
First time viewer..loved all your designs! Thank you for your finishing ideas. Started cross stitching in the early eighties and quit in 1990. Did finish The Lucy Redd sampler, which was my last project. Then started up again with a Black Bird club in 2003. Just finishing the last chart!!!
I enjoyed your tips on finishing the stockings, trees, and mittens! I like the thought of using comic board. Thank you so much for sharing. Your works of art are beautiful.
I’m a new subscriber. I love your designs and I was so excited that I accidentally came upon your floss tube channel. I have been binge watching all of your videos. Thanks for all the great content.
Dear Pink Kitty - Welcome and I am so pleased you found my Flosstube channel. But that is a lot of watching!! Kudos for your patience! And thanks so much for joining.
Loved your video today. So many great tips for finishing. Love the printer idea. When I first started cross started cross stitching again after not stitching in years. Jean from The Attic helped me me pick out a Christmas design from JBW, the linen and silk. Such a beautiful pattern and so much fun to stitch. Now I am inspired to finally fully finish. Thanks so much for your contributions.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, getting me in the mood to stitch up ornaments. I enjoyed the review on finishing. Lots of helpful hints. Thanks so much.
Thanks for the finishing refresh. I still remember when you told me about copying the stitching on the copier to make a template when I was at Galleria. That was such a simple idea that I never would have thought of. I have used that technique for making templates of several things and it works great! Thank you so much for that idea! 💜 - Connie
Thank you Judy for another video of great finishing tips! I use the sticky back felt to finish my Mill Hill ornaments, but never thought of it to pad my other ornaments- genius! Thanks again and have a great weekend!
I'm so inspired on how to finish my Christmas ornaments as I have eight to finish for my grandchildren. I'm still working on stitching them but they will be done. Thank you for sharing all your beautiful designs.
Thank you for the lovely video visit and the finishing ideas. This year has really rushed by, and I need to get into my craft room to start finishing the ornaments I have stitched so they are ready to gift...and to stitch probably several more pieces, as well!
Very nice information on finishing small items like ornaments. I like your approach of using the least amount of glue or separating the necessary glue from the stitching. I generally resist using glue if I can find a way to stitch something together instead because I worry about the long term effects of glue on stitching years on down the road.
Thank you so very much for the finishing tutorial. It was so helpful, especially the ideas on the trims and the tips for using glue or the tape. I’ll be working on a couple ornaments very soon, your patterns of course. ❤
Thank you for all the great ornament finishing ideas! It's one of my goals for next year to stitch an ornament every month for my 2024 tree, and having a finishing plan will keep me on track! Thank you! ❤🎄
Hello Judy another delightful video I look forward to your posts . Your designs are top draw and beautifully finished. Would love to meet you if you visited London. Happy stitching
Great video. Love the finsihes for the ornaments and suggestions of how to's. I am working on my ornaments now. Like the Sing Along stockings, they will be on my to do list. Thank you for sharing.
Just started following you. Love your designs. Enjoyed your finishing advice. I love learning other ideas. I use my Cricut to cut my mat board. It also works great to cut odd shapes. I take a photo of the stitch piece and upload image to my Cricut and edit in their software. Works great. Hoping to add a tutorial to my Instagram soon. Love your channel.
Your flosstubes are wonderful and always are very informative and very interesting. I love everyone of your patterns. Our fall colors in Wisconsin this year were outstanding also. Happy stitching,
What beautiful ornaments…thanks for the finishing tips. I love to stitch, but the finishing often doesn’t happen. Your inspiration will help. Have a wonderful week.
Thank you for showing us all your beautiful Christmas ornaments and giving us some help with how to finish them. I have done 3 of your stocking ornaments but as of today haven't finished any of them.
What wonderful ideas and tips for finishing. I'm gathering supplies this week to finish quite a few ornaments. I plan on setting aside next weekend for doing them. I have a hard time with odd shapes, so I'm glad you did this video. ❤

What a great finishing video. I’m really trying to get the courage up to use that cord maker. I’ve had one for years and it’s still in the package because I’m a chicken
Oh you must give it a try Kathy. It is a wonderful tool - and just takes some practice to realize how great it is. Maybe you and a friend could tackle the cording together?
Hi Judy, I just love all of your patterns. I purchased the new Christmas village. All 4 parts. Is there a layout of the Christmas village all stitched together. I did see the picture on the back of one of the leaflets. Is there a real layout that was used to make it like the picture? Please help me. I just love the way the Christmas village looks all together. Thank you, Leslie ❤❤❤
Judy, your finishing tips are very helpful. Thank you! Question for a future video: Are you able to recommend where we can purchase the little charms some stitches use when finishing projects?

Great question - I am hoping to film a vido tomorrow so will mention a good source in the next video.
Loved your video today. I just have one question when you talk about stitching it together what size of a needle are you using? Thank you.
I just use a sewing needle to stitch the two parts together.
@@jbwdesignscrossstitch4750 thank you for letting me know. Have a great evening.
