When I look out at UA-cam there are so many good Channels that have covered Linux that I am reluctant to throw out another video on Linux. I have looked at this very carefully, I would love to play in this space, but it is crowded with relevant content.
Does the date of creation of the WinRE.wim file make a difference in its effectiveness for troubleshooting Windows? Also how can a User know if the WinRE is damaged/corrupt from the user interface? Thanks
Google has just allowed a personal channel to be renamed. Before this change, Google would force us to move to a new "named channel" but we would lose all our comments for every video. We are trying to build a single name for all our work, both on social media, UA-cam, and our website. It seemed to make sense as we moved forward.
So... If i am trying to install in a new ssd, and i only can get driver pnp watchdog, and i tried more than 2 times to while the isntallation usb was trying to boot i shut it down pressing the power key for 10 seconds... but i cant find a way to go to the repair one. I also am getting this error all the time more than 3 times in a row and i still cant see the repair option. The last atempt I went to dell, got a version that was installed of the windows that came with the pc (that previous was wiped the ssd drive to have linux only, work purposes) and now i cant even make this version that is said "workable". I am tired of this PNP WATCHDOG :( Can you help me out?
I have lots of videos on troubleshooting Windows boot! It does take time and with some effort in learning how Microsoft does this with Windows you can effectively troubleshoot many boot problems. With my videos are notes you can download and study.
A couple of weeks ago, I had a Windows 8.1 machine lock up daily on me. Completely stopped working the machine , the only way out was to hit and hold the power button. After running some diagnostic commands like SFC and DISM commands on the C Prompt line, that didn't solve the issue. I went to the "event viewer" and I was getting a crazy DHCP error. I ran MalwareBytes and that resulted in no malware found . so then I ran a fun scan of Windows Defender. Low and behold , it came back with a result of a nasty malware infection. I think it was a browser hijack , or spyware because the computer would lock up when using a browser.. I believe that DHCP error was the firewall blocking the connection to C&C server and or the browser not allowing the infection to take place due to a security patch , this is what caused the lock up of Windows to occur
To connect to another PC or shared folder on a network While in Windows PE, you can connect (or map) to a shared network folder by using the net use command. If you’re connecting to a domain-joined PC, Windows PE prompts for a username and password. net start net use n: \\server\share
Amazing video, though miss your old classroom type lectures. Also without the bg music it is easier to concentrate on the video. Thanks
Sorry for that, we do understand that for some folks it is more difficult, many enjoy it. Trust me we are listening to your feedback.
Thank you very much ❤️❤️ For info and
For Arabic subtitles
You're welcome 😊
Excellent information sir. Great work!!!
Glad it was helpful!
Hello, I am new to your channel but have enjoyed many of your videos so far. Do you plan to do any series with Linux at all? Thanks for all you do!

Hello Mr Vanderpool, isn't creating System Recovery USB(within Windows) the same as WinRE with the same features? Thanks
Yes, you are correct!
Does the date of creation of the WinRE.wim file make a difference in its effectiveness for troubleshooting Windows? Also how can a User know if the WinRE is damaged/corrupt from the user interface? Thanks
I didn't watch the video yet but, do I need to understand the Lowell Vanderpool channel has been renamed as techSavvy productions?

How to enable networking in WinRE?
To connect to another PC or shared folder on a network
While in Windows PE, you can connect (or map) to a shared network folder by using the net use command. If you’re connecting to a domain-joined PC, Windows PE prompts for a username and password.
net start
net use n: \\server\share
