#jaimemunguia is once again ready to shine under the Arizona lights.
Munguia will return against unbeaten contender Erik Bazinyan in the 12-round main event on Friday, Sept. 20, at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.
In the co-feature will be the eight-round heavyweight showdown between Olympic silver medal standout Richard Torrez Jr. (10-0, 10 KOs) and Philadelphia-born veteran Joey Dawejko (28-11-4, 16 KOs).
In the eight-round televised opener, undefeated junior welterweight Emiliano Fernando Vargas (11-0, 9 KOs) steps up in class against upset-minded Irishman Larry Fryers (13-6-1, 5 KOs).
Promoted by Top Rank, in association with Eye of the Tiger, Zanfer Promotions, and Golden Boy Promotions, Munguia-Bazinyan, Torrez-Dawejko, and Vargas-Fryers will be broadcast live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes, and ESPN+ at 10:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT. Tickets are ON SALE NOW via Ticketmaster.com.

Bazinyan has been in the WBO top ten at 168 for something crazy like 7-8 years or so and we still don't REALLY know what his level is. I don't think he's at THIS level, but I could be wrong and this should be a really good fight.

I think Munguia is a volume puncher boxer. He has the talent to pressure any boxer in the ring with great stamina. He will be a great boxer again.

Aunque en México queremos y respetamos mucho a Freddie Roach . Nunca me quedo claro porque Munguía decidió cambiar de esquina , cuando ellos ya le habían ganado como equipo a Freddy en la pelea de Rosado teniendo a Erick en su esquina y tuvo una de las mejores actuaciones de su carrera en donde se vió muy técnico, inteligente y lanzando una gran cantidad de combinaciones desde la distancia.
Me hubiera gustado verlo mas tiempo con Roach. La experiencia de Roach hubiera sido muy enriquecedora, y ni que se diga de los sparring que hay en Wild Card Gym 💪

la rank boxing, helo him, talk with canelo and let him help munguia why lost wityh him, munguia, el tu entrenamiento sigues mostrando mucho tu cara, checa lo que le decia eddy a canelo,acorta distancia, por eso te metio la derecha varias veces y la izquierda cuando te descubrias, mas que tirar, es protegerse, eddy decia tira a lo pendejo, se referia a que en una de esas a cortando dsitancia te mete rapido ya sea un gancho o un yap, si puedes aprende por ti mismo tambien, ve tus propios errores, se mejor. no todo es tirar tanto chingaso, con uno bien puesto es suficiente, por eso te tiro el canelo.
