What few bring up is that 2018 was Mahomes first year as a starter while Brady was a veteran. Also 2018 Chiefs defense was almost historically bad while Brady generally had a top 10 defense. Mahomes put up 51 and 40 points in 2 of those games and still lost.
Bob Sutton, the whole 3-4 Defensive scheme & the vast majority of that Defense was fired that year. The only one they kept that year was Chris Freaking Jones. Hired Spags, the Honey Badger & the Shark & won the SB the very next year!

Coming from a diehard Peyton Manning fan, Patrick Mahomes is the greatest I’ve ever seen!! He can win the game in so many different ways!! He’s definitely outshined both Tom Brady and Peyton Manning in his young career and locked up his bid as a First Ballot Hall of Famer. I was mesmerized and blown away from the beginning, especially with the way he incorporates his baseball skills into his game of football. 🏈 Just incredible!!

Tbh mahomes is the only qb currently playing that could dethrone Brady. He can play in the pocket just as well. Crazy cannon arm. Can easily play make with his legs. High IQ. This last superbowl proved he can win with nothing more than just defense. Didn’t have a 1K wr or 1K rb n still won.

It’s hard to compare yards and other similar stats since it’s much more of a passing league now than it was like 25 years ago. I would expect a bunch of qbs to have more passing yards and stats over first 7 years going forward since the league is so different than it was. The real test will be longevity

I don't get the Brady hate, for real, I just don't get it. The man's record speaks for itself. Having said, PM15 - at this point in his career - is better (much better) than Brady was at this point. He is also far more athletic, and more of an improvisational wizard than Brady ever was. Couple that with the fact that Mahomes' football IQ is at or higher than Brady, Mahomes' trajectory is virtually limitless. Provided Mahomes stays healthy (knock on wood), he will better Brady's SB ring total. And do it in less time than Brady did.

It’s hard to compare yards and other similar stats since it’s much more of a passing league now than it was like 25 years ago. I would expect a bunch of qbs to have more passing yards and stats over first 7 years going forward since the league is so different than it was. The real test will be longevity

I don't get the Brady hate, for real, I just don't get it. The man's record speaks for itself. Having said, PM15 - at this point in his career - is better (much better) than Brady was at this point. He is also far more athletic, and more of an improvisational wizard than Brady ever was. Couple that with the fact that Mahomes' football IQ is at or higher than Brady, Mahomes' trajectory is virtually limitless. Provided Mahomes stays healthy (knock on wood), he will better Brady's SB ring total. And do it in less time than Brady did.
The sad thing is Mahomes is better than Brady's first 3 ring and his lat 3 rings with the patriots, it didnt matter either way, he still did it better than tom
