Hello Aytekin. Fantastic build and great video. I like the music and the way it is synchronized with the stages of the building process. It is art in its purest form. This is the first video I view from your channel. I will subscribe . Cheers from Canada.
Thank you for your kind words. I am glad that you noticed it because I paid extra attention to synchronization. Unfortunately, I am not making any new model these days but I will be back soon.
Outstanding! Every decal is applied perfectly and your paint work is top notch. I have the 1/8th scale version of this GT1, but it lacks the insane amounts of detail that the 1/24th has. Great job!
+bel976 Thank you for your comment, applying the decals was the most difficult part on this kit. Long and large decals are complicated to apply. I am glad you liked it. Paint work is smooth on this model, I didn't get any orange peal... Thanks for your compliment.
Winter in Oz so Am currently building clear full view version. Excellent work particularly transmission painting details, pipes etc, shockers, heat effect on exhaust pipes, dash & of course decals. Twas a good guide what's visible in completed build. I've watched 6+ times, freeze frame & ive so much to do yet. Only suggestion, many pics out of focus. Thnxs for vid post
Awesome build! Just subscribed to your channel! I have just finished Porsche 934 rsr on my channel and found decals there quite challenging...I can imagine how difficult this model can be in terms of decals 😀 great job!
I made this model BEFORE I discovered the magic of "MICRO SOL" and "MICRO SET" liquids... Actually, putting decals on this model forced me to discover about these magic liquids. Without them, it was truly pain in the ass. So let's say - this was the last painful-decaling kit for me. When I saw for the first time what those MICRO liquids can do, I could not understand my eyes... With these liquids, even those huge decals are easy-peasy. Same for the curved/shaped surface decals. It's amazing how it stretches the decal. It is just a piece of "technological process" which makes all the procedure wayyyy much easier and comfortable. You just need to know about these. Your model is beautiful, I only miss some panel lining / soft weathering. White body with no panel lines looks little bit odd - especially when you look to the model from the front side - around lights.
Thank you for your comment. You are right decal job was extremely difficult on this model and i used only water and tamiya decal solution (markfit) :) But i learned a lot from this decals. And you're also right about the panel lines they are not looking very nice but those panel lines are too wide when i put tamiya accent colour black it was looking so funny so i decided to do without.

Possible.. (that time, I did not do panel lines neither... was "affraid" of it that time.. :) .. In that case, I would use the model-knife (the dull side, not the sharp one). and would make them deeper, so it makes more natural shadow effect. On some forum, I saw this model with some after-market and custom made details (wires/electricity in motor and such a details... and with TOP surface/colour/decals - it was "wow"...) Anyway - nice build in every case. I learned a lot with this particular model, and you probably also.. :) and btw. - nice selection of music..!!! Classical pianist here.. ;) Cheers!

You know... It's the same with carbon fiber decals... If you take this decal and make it 24times bigger, it will look slightly different from original carbon fiber. In other words - if you take original piece of carbon fiber and make it 24times smaller, you won't see basically any pattern. It's a difficult to say what's better... (I remember, some guys on forum said they "prefer to cheat the carbon fiber pattern with certain mixture of colour" than out-scaled decals...)
Carbon decals are the same you are right. On my last few models after applying the carbon decals I sprayed clear coat so it is looks little bit better. Maybe you can try this if you like the result.
Hi mate, amazing vid! Was curious, got the set but didn't come with the cement and paint. Are these needed for sure and where would you recommend buying the paints as a set? Thank you!
Hello. Paints and cements are not included to set. You have to buy them separate. I use tamiya products. Just Google it and if you wanna buy online use Ebay or Amazon.
Thank you Jesse. I dont know the damege level but if they are just ripped you can put them in the water and place them on the tyres like regular dacels but you have to fix them like puzzle in the end they will look like non damaged. I had alot of damaged decals also.
@@jesseortega8598 oh that is not nice. Maybe you can try to make diaroma... used tyres or after race :) There is another way also if you have a laser printer. You just have to buy decal paper and print it yourself :)
Thank you. I just checked the book and the colours are looking ok. Discs are darker colours beucase they should look like carbon-ceramic discs. So thats why :)
That is strange. It supposed to fit perfect. I glued it to chasis yes. Did you clean the parts well with the hobby knife? or maybe used to much glue somewhere? But i remember very well when i fit the front it took very long and it was really difficult. When you fit it in place and if there is still space between front cowl and chasis propably cabin or some other parts didnt placed well. so maybe you can sand some parts inside till it fits better.
@@aytekinK super thanks buddy, what would you say are the top 3 colours to get for this? Could you get away with it?
The bitter rivalry between the Germans. Back when they fought tooth and nail against each other
