- In this episode i install a Streamline Billetanium Steering Stabilizer onto my 2007 polaris outlaw 525. Pretty easy install considering there is no other vids out there for installing this onto a predator or outlaw. Im not surre if this was a universal dampner but i got it off ebay for $50 and was a good deal.

Have you had any issues with reliability, I've heard some bad stuff about stick style stabilizers. I'm trying to get into some light MX racing on my 400ex and this is the only stabilizer in my price range.
I have not personally even used this because the atv isn't finished being built. But for the money if it's what you can afford I would buy it. I have ran ohlins on my aprilia and ducati's and I have run oem off brand stabilizers. Here's the deal on them personally as my opinion as a non racer. Buy the cheaper one and get a extra rebuild kit. If you get one season out of it before rebuild that's fine. If your not a serious mx racer that needs the best to compete than why spend the extra $300 on the name brand one that you will never utilize. If you can afford one I personally would buy one and play with the settings. If you want a amazon link and help me out with a little commission to support the channel that would help me out as well. They work just fine.
They don't last if you ride hard. Mine didn't last the whole summer.
just ordered one for my 03 Ds650 baja, at that price 130$ canadian I've got nothing to lose, was gonna go with a precision but its like 700$ canadian so ill try this one :)

These are good except.if u ride daily or even alot. They wear out fast. The precision ones are alot better quality and do not wear out as fast but works about as good. U can get 7 or 11 way adj systems for these ebay style
How fast would ya say they wear out? Its like $134 on ebay wanting to get it for my 2019 yfz450r
@@chazzthaspazz4475 depends how hard u ride and how much. Just get a rebuild able one they only like 10 bucks more for same brand and they come 7-11 way adjustable

Was that stabilizer for an outlaw or just something that fit the steering stem?
I believe it was one that fit universal. I bought it used off another outlaw, and it may of been sold as a outlaw but isn't being sold that way now.

@@osvaldoalvarez2437 I still havent got the quad out to ride. But on street bikes it absolutely make a difference the tech is just applied to offroad with these dampners.
