I have been playing short- and medium-scale basses with increasing frequency lately. The Shelby sounds very good! I would love to see a comparison between this bass and the Reverend Sentinel, which is also 30"-scale with a P pickup.
Been waitin for this bass and it sounds pretty good. There's a bass that I have great interest in, not in this video sorry, but it's a Blueberry fretless acoustic, a big old girl with a wolf paw carved on it, a wolf on the back...so cool looking like put a spell on me and now I want it. Probably the coolest looking acoustic bass you can find for at home for this price, like a museum looking bass and there's just something about it. I am gonna have to get it I guess, takes 90 days to make it. I am a sucker for Native American stuff, then when I realized this bass would look so perfect just sitting inside, or a bass for playing up at the ski lodge or something, air bnb, I assume it has a hard case and I would keep it forever and just play it.
So this is like 1899$ or whatever, this worth it over a USA mustang like a 2025 model ?. 1199$. The budget between 1-2 k is like, a weird gray area. I might have to just go with the trusted Fender
Looks sick. Short scales are underrated.
hekkkk yes
I really love that color. Sounds good. Don't know about the spots, though.
