- In this video, we prove three properties of modular congruence. Each of these properties are conditional statements that can be proven directly by making the necessary assumption and unpacking the definition of modular congruence. Therefore, these are great examples for someone who wants to practice the direct proof method or wants an introduction to proofs involving modular congruence. These examples also highlight the useful proving technique of "unpacking the conclusion". I hope this helps!
