interesting demo - freecad is really complicated in Fusion or Shapr make the tupes boolen join select tup faces inside and delete to trigger the auto heal
HI, first, thank you for creating these series. Really helpful as I just tasting CAD with FreeCAD. The method you showing her did not work for me for whatever reason. I ended up creating a sketch on the inner diameter of each pipe and the pocketed. It worked. Im using version 0.21.2
Great video - however when I changed the size of the smaller tube the hole never changed - it stayed the same size as the original - if you have a comment I appreciate but yeah now I can fix my storm water run-off - thanks
Great Video but I don't have construction lines on my program or I can't find it any where - you are busy - but if you could point me in the right direction that would be great. Also if you could do a video on how to set up the Ondsel program or is it good to go out of the download - thanks
Thanks! Try to right click on the toolbar in the sketcher workbench. It can be that you miss some buttons there. Including the External Geometry button.

Yeah that will be easier, but remember it's free software. 😉
So so clear! Love the way you explain… thank you, sir!
You're welcome!

Thanks! Did you also use a ShapeBinder?

Nice! Why do you use a shapebinder on the small tube and a sub-shapebinder on the big tube?
Thanks! Somehow it resulted in a cyclical error when I tried to use two normal ShapeBinders. 🙃
I dont think this will work if the bodies are not plainar, like if its made from loft. Is there a way to do that? Thanks!
👍I haven't try that yet. Thanks for the idea!
trying to draw a pulley with retainer ring slots on the in side for 2 bearings

No it was just for this tutorial. 😉
