Why does he sound better on live versions on like literally every one of his songs??? I'll be listening to a album track and I think he ain't all that he's overhyped and then I listen to the live version and I'm floored. This happens EVERYTIME. Long story short I think production is doing this guy wrong he needs to think about that properly because he's a very good songwriter and is blessed with such a soulful voice!!

a lot of the musicians are different. His lead guitarist (Jake Curran) for lives is just absolutely sick, and he is not in the studio songs. Make note of the lead guitar in all the live stuff, he's great at creating atmosphere that elevates and compliments perfectly. I keep hoping NH releases a live album.
