The cool part about this video is everyone in it is people he interviewed from the south side of Chicago where he is from. And the point of it is classism how the upper class looks at lower classes white black brown doesn’t matter we are below them in there eyes
It's understandable to have a strong negative reaction to the "n" word. My question to you is: why didn't you have a similar reaction when he was using anti-white racial slurs? Would your response have been different if he was a person of color? No judgments, just honestly curious. P.s. I enjoy the videos quite a bit, thanks for posting them!
@@dakotablount251 I tend to agree, to a point. Racism is racism and it's wrong regardless of who engages in it. If someone really is against racism then they should speak out against it regardless of who it is directed towards.
@@josephkeeter9648 I agree but that's different to the reaction you'd get. Reaction is just that. How you first react. And a white dude saying that word vs a white dude just saying cracker induces a different reaction no matter what or who you are. Plus tbh....people rarely, if ever, use cracker as an insult. It's usually a simple "white boy" that's used.
@@dakotablount251 that is true, for sure. I'm still curious, though, if they would react similarly to a person of color using an anti-white racial slur. Do they see it as a problem that should be addressed (it is) or do they think it's acceptable for some reason and why. Again, no judgments just curiosity.
@@josephkeeter9648 they'd probably agree it's not right to say, but it isn't really a problem imo. It isn't a widespread thing(here at least, maybe in other countries). Yeah, first time hearing this my jaw dropped. I just sat there for a minute thinking it about how I just got verbally destroyed. Then immediately listen it to again, and again. Reminds me of this article about Confederate and Black Panther joining forces in the 1960's. As the end of the day AOC and Ted Cruz couldn't care less about poor people unless it makes them richer and more powerful They profit from us fighting, we suffer because of our frustration But the people need to re build the bridges our political masters have burned down instead of waiting for a politician to do it. I live in The South, am not white but one of the remaining few Indigenous Americans. Poor white people are not racist, they have always been, nice, respectful and understanding, all while flying the confederates flags. That Symbol to them is the same war cry as my people "F@#k big government, let us savages be free of your corruption and false profiteering, let us exist without supervision, supression and judgement" The media tells a different story, but honestly check this article out www.salon.com/2017/01/10/1969-vs-2017-when-black-panthers-aligned-with-confederate-flag-wielding-working-class-whites_partner/

You two have great chemistry and contagious smiles
Again, I love your reaction!! Definitely a lot of shock value with that song. As you said, every race has Ghetto or trash, it is not a race issue. Although some try to make it into one.
The cool part about this video is everyone in it is people he interviewed from the south side of Chicago where he is from. And the point of it is classism how the upper class looks at lower classes white black brown doesn’t matter we are below them in there eyes
Adam is on another level you need to check out a lot by him
Appreciate y'all. Most of us got nothing but love
Because historically they aren't the same therefore don't carry the same level of shock.
I'll be fair, my view on it may be bias. But like....the streets I grew up in there weren't really any slurs at all used against white dudes. Just "white boy" lmao
I must say our conversation was full of honesty. Thank you.
I grew up in MPLS, with black folks. They were dear friends of my family, my parents relied on them, they relied on us.
I absolutely love that you listen to all music with an open mind and try to find the message being given. Keep it up guys. Your great.
I'm a white hillbilly from Eastern Kentucky I left home when I was 21 years ago and moved to Detroit to find work for my family and everybody called me hillbilly which I embraced I am not pray just whatsoever while in Detroit I have more problems with racism towards me with other white folks hate me for being from the south and having a southern accent people are people there's good people and bad people and that's just the bottom line the government wants to divide us and they've been doing a pretty good job at it it's really two types of folks in this world that's rich and poor and poor has no color and neither does rich but like I say there's more poor people than rich people as long as the government could divide the poor people which is made up of black white hispanic and so on their game is divide and conquer and they're doing a pretty good job on it because we're letting them all folks I got to be smarter than that love you guys this reaction and honesty
Justin and staci!!! I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR POINT OF VIEW!!!
I'm shocked you haven't seen this video ...you need to watch more of Adam he is amazing 👏
Good reaction, as soon as I saw you dropped this I was on it. I had no doubt you would get the message, and I think it needs that shock value. My favorite song by Adam is "Catch Hell", then Rap Shxt.
Fuckin A.
Yall understand the point, we need to get over the 'shock' value of a word.
We're one people, one family. Love y'all
I'm newer to your channel, I enjoy the reactions! This video was definitely shocking for sure. I do appreciate your open minded perspectives to the videos both of you react to! Keep up the good content
Again I’ll say it. You two are a breath of fresh air because you listen to the song and don’t think or respond to it with your feelings and understand the message. I’m a 55 year old white man from the Bronx and just love you two. I would vote the two of you into the White House in 2024. I respect you guys you are what this country need right now. Take care and God Bless from Joey from the Bronx
Love the channel you two always bring the Good vibes
There must really be magic in this world, that one word has so much power.
Yet we still miss the point there is only one race the human race just different shades of the same thing. Someone had “A DREAM” that we would all understand that in its purest form someday. I can only hope so for my grandsons sake.
Damnnn! Lol, I just left a comment on your last video I watched asking you guys to react to this song. I haven't watched your video yet, but I'm gonna end this comment so I can go watch it now!😀
Its been awhile since I've seen a video. Still love you guys. Power couple
Poverty, hard life, sin, and evil are waiting to take any of us. It's only us that make the distinction.
Yeah, first time hearing this my jaw dropped. I just sat there for a minute thinking it about how I just got verbally destroyed. Then immediately listen it to again, and again. Reminds me of this article about Confederate and Black Panther joining forces in the 1960's. As the end of the day AOC and Ted Cruz couldn't care less about poor people unless it makes them richer and more powerful They profit from us fighting, we suffer because of our frustration
But the people need to re build the bridges our political masters have burned down instead of waiting for a politician to do it. I live in The South, am not white but one of the remaining few Indigenous Americans. Poor white people are not racist, they have always been, nice,
respectful and understanding, all while flying the confederates flags.
The most important line in the song "they pit us against each other sit back and watch it happen."
Dude i love Adam!! He has a good flow and an awesome voice
He is from a chicago hood where he was the only white boy in his hood. We can never judge a book by its cover. Love your guys content keep going!
Recently heard this song and it's hilarious. I enjoy watching you two together. You always get me smiling! 😎😁💙🙏
New sub Creeksquad, please react to Adam Calhoun ft Upchurch die tonight
He grew up in the south side Chicago. And fun side note that cadi is his Cadillac
Man, tuff reaction! Robin DiAngelo's next book is going to be called Black Fragility! bahahahah jokes fam, love listening to your perspective. Keep it up!
werent upset when hem said whit trash....llook back on that pause
Your face. Man his face was priceless at the beginning of this video. 😂😂🤣😂🤣
Calhoun is my favorite. His cadence is by far one of the best.
straight from Chicago - Adam and Upchurch killin it
It’s not about race, it’s all about class
You guys crack me up. Your fun to watch.
You guys do the best breakdowns, I grew up in a project near Boston as a child before moving to the burbs. Although I never used that word, I have heard black people, spanish people and white people use it. Made me uncomfortable but in that area the use was prevalent..
Jamarcus Jackson..I spit out my coffee!!! WTF , you guys are hysterical
I was also initially shocked when I heard this song. After listening a couple more times, I concluded that he talking about stereotypes...how they are really not relevant, and how we REALLY need to come together, regardless of race or creed.
Adam was describing the racist terms for certain types of people as well as the terms used for the respectable people on both white and black people
I love watching you guys react to new stuff with such open minds! Love your prospective. Keep rocking it! Check out Adam’s “Pressure” (for Hip Hop reactors) 😂
You earned my sub! That WORD does not mean what people think of today and we need to let it go.
Tia and Tamera and Hanging With Ms. Cooper reacting... Respect.
He did literally exactly what Joyner did with more attitude and trust me Adam has his card to use that word lol
Not how that works 🤣
He doesn't have a card, he has respect. In the Hood or in the Culture. If your respected as a black person, and you white, you get every right as a black person to say the word
Y'all acting like your opinion is the facts for everywhere! 🤣 Where I'm from it is basically how it works I have plenty of black friends and anytime I say it to them when they around other people the first thing they say is "it's alright he's cool", and I get what your saying ninja but that's absolutely not how it works everywhere lol respect doesn't matter if your saying something like that around people that have no clue who you are. Respect only helps when it's around people who respect you lol
Perfect example is eminem! Eminem has more respect as a white dude in this world by the black culture than anyone else! Still bet if he said it in a song he'd get maaaaad hate!!! Simple as that. But I do understand what your saying, same goes with what I said about having his card, that doesn't mean shit in some areas of the country and only helps around people who your cool with lol
@@ninjakilzombie3442 that's wrong. That's so wrong it isn't even funny.
Adam was telling how some from each side think about the other side. But toward the end is the most important part of the song they pin us against each other and sit back and watch it happen.. There are not two sides people don't let them brainwashed you into believing so. We all are humans !! Peace
Hes # 1 on the charts and just released a new albulm. Hes friends with Church and Jesus! He's amazing! Check out his song "RAP SHIT"... His flow is nasty!!
Also, there's a great video on his UA-cam channel where he explains this video and talks to African Americans from his hood in Chicago around where he grew up!
Great reaction!!! Glad you gave the video a chance cause Adam is amazing!
